Captain Jack shrugged at the words and asked us if we had noticed the changes in the Sea of Sunken Ships.
Him asking this question— it's not like we've gone blind, how could we not see the mist over the sea had dispersed? Not only had the mist lifted, but some sunlight could now pierce through, and the sky above was merely overcast, not as pitch-black as night as it had been.
He asked such an obvious question, probably to lead into what he wanted to say next. Unfortunately, Bi Shi and I weren't very cooperative, so nobody answered him, and he had to continue on by himself.
"This is the most unusual day in the Sea of Sunken Ships all year long; the sun appears, monsters lie dormant, and the barrier vanishes."
I wanted to snark back at him, "A sky as grim as this counts as sunny?" But to let him get to the point quicker, I didn't interrupt.
