My 'superior' hasn't contacted me yet, and the new work assignment was issued directly by the captain. He sent me an electronic transfer order, saying that Qinghan had applied for it on my behalf earlier.
The new job is in the suburbs, standard nine-to-five, but only with staggered days off, no fixed holidays. However, the pay is the same as before, just without field bonuses and allowances.
No need to work desperately hard, earning less is no big deal. The breakfast shop is about to open, and I'll have additional income then.
Qinghan must have considered all this early on, so the house I live in now is relatively close to the new workplace, and commuting by bike is just fine.
But before going to the new position, I took a few days of sick leave, because I can't wear a sun hat at work. I need to get my green skin back to normal before reporting in.
