As the last two Wutu True Locusts perished together, a burst of cheer erupted from those guarding the Ye Family's medicinal fields, with many even bursting into tears of joy.
Originally, they thought today would be their end here, unexpectedly, without even having a chance to act, the great disaster dissipated without a trace. The feeling of surviving a calamity is truly wonderful.
The medicinal fields were in a mess, with locust remnants and holes everywhere in sight. However, upon closer inspection, apart from the small portion accidentally damaged when the eggs hatched, the herbs were largely intact.
This was much better than what everyone had anticipated before the locust eggs hatched. In addition, using the eggshells and remnants of the Wutu True Locusts as nutrients, the quality of the next batch of herbs would be even better. In the medicinal market in the coming years, it's highly likely to be the Ye Family's world.
