The leading bodyguard furrowed his brow more tightly, "I didn't expect it to be the Preston Family."
The young master's actions, if spread out, surely don't sound good, especially since the Prestons are a well-known family.
Mila Miller smiled lightly, pressing her lips together.
The bodyguard thought for a moment, worried about causing delays, and said, "Whether or not we can let Mrs. Fairchild out is not for us to decide; we need to consult with the young master."
Sylvia Lane saw the opportunity and quickly urged, "Then hurry up and call!"
The bodyguard picked up the phone to dial, but they were not authorized to directly contact Julian Fairchild, so Miles Hughes answered the call.
"What's going on?"
In front of Miles Hughes was a mound of documents; he handled matters that weren't urgent, and this paperwork alone was a day's worth.
"Mr. Hughes, Miss Preston is here, saying she wants to see Mrs. Fairchild... what's your take on this..."
