She suddenly opened her eyes and found herself enveloped in darkness, surrounded by all kinds of copper mirrors, entwined with red threads, with numerous talisman papers hanging between them, trapping her inside.
Chaotic and messy noises emerged from those mirrors, making Sang Que's head hurt, increasingly irritable.
She tried to get closer, but the red threads and talisman papers flared with a fiery red glow, forcing Sang Que back with intense heat.
Powerful resentment invaded her body, and Sang Que heard the violent beating of a heart.
Not her heart, but the one belonging to village resentment, absorbing the resentment, growing rapidly.
This intense, rapid pounding gave her a feeling of hot-headedness, restless and uneasy.
