Chapter 37 - Chapter 21: An Abnormal Flower (Part 2)

At least have a baseline before the official broadcast.

Gordo obviously refused, he was extremely angry at the time, and the time Artie wanted to arrange had already been booked for a brewery broadcast.

No matter how big Gordon Sterling's resentment was, sitting next to him, Sean Lowell agreed in one go.

So, Sean Lowell didn't mention a word about the fever to anyone.

Including his agent.

If it was the Pouting Siren who drank too much, the Wine Winters Ambassador could naturally laugh and wait for him to wake up.

But as soon as she thought that Sean Lowell might have fainted because of her excessive behavior the previous day.

The Pouting Siren's heart was completely at a loss.

The Winters Ambassador already knew why Master Sean Lowell couldn't catch a cold, as the Nation's Gentleman spent a whole night explaining it to her.

Artie truly realized she was wrong.

Also understood that not every joke she thought was insignificant really was.

Is it too late to change now after realizing my mistake?

Is a fever considered a more serious consequence than a cold, or not so severe?

"Summer, what should I do? Artie seems to have really screwed up." Artie's eyes instantly reddened with worry.

Leo Vaughn gave the specific address of the restaurant to the 120 emergency center.

The restaurant manager came over with a champagne ice bucket.

Watching the busy figures of the group, two streams of regretful tears slipped down Artie's cheeks.

"Don't worry. I got you."

Summer Fairmont's four words and Leo Vaughn's "Don't worry, big brother's here" were two different expressions of the same sentiment in the pampering Artie series.

Summer Fairmont originally thought her return this time was meaningless, but seeing Artie's current state, she felt it was still good that she was there.

If it were just Leo Vaughn alone right now, he definitely couldn't manage both the fainted master and the collapsing ambassador.

Summer Fairmont did not know of Sean Lowell's peculiar "taboo" regarding colds.

But she was very aware that The Devilish Lolita yesterday launched two blood-soaked "revenge" attacks on the Pouting Siren because of her family's Whiskey.

...............

The first moment Sean Lowell was sent into the ambulance, Leo Vaughn called Gordon Sterling.

Gordon Sterling wasn't just a self-proclaimed "Jilted manager," he indeed managed everything for Sean Lowell.

Leo Vaughn was well aware of how Sean Lowell's health held importance in Gordon Sterling's heart.

Gordo wouldn't cancel a brewery broadcast for a meal, but if Sean Lowell were ill, he'd cancel even the festival broadcast without hesitation.

At this moment, Gordon Sterling, who was broadcasting, did not set a special whitelist for Leo Vaughn's phone call.

Because Sean Lowell didn't have a phone, so in Gordon Sterling's whitelist, there was only the fixed phone from Elder Ford's wine cellar location.

At this time in previous years, Sean Lowell would almost return to his "ascetic" place.

Unable to get through to Gordon Sterling's phone, Leo Vaughn just followed onto the ambulance.

According to Leo Vaughn's intention, he would accompany Sean Lowell to the hospital.

Artie and Summer Fairmont would go home first.

But no matter what, Artie wouldn't agree to that.

She had a Lolita's face, but her mischievous heart was genuine.

She made a mistake; crying was okay, but avoidance was not.

The doctor gave Sean Lowell a fever-reducing shot, and after about half an hour, Sean Lowell woke up.

Just in time to hear Gordon Sterling calling back during a break between live segments, using "memory release" time.

"Mr. Sterling, it's like this, Master Sean Lowell just now..." Leo Vaughn organized his words, explaining to Gordon Sterling the reason for his call.

"Let me speak to Gordon Sterling," Sean Lowell interrupted Leo Vaughn's explanation.

Sean Lowell took the phone: "I was chatting quite happily just now, later on when tasting, I plan to drink some whiskey as well."

Sean Lowell continued explaining to Gordon Sterling in as normal a voice as possible: "You know my drinking tolerance, after I drink, I might just sleep on their side."

"You know I know and still want to let me know again? You didn't know a damn thing yesterday, and now I have to babble nonsense with Elder Ford!" The famous jokester's style of language was always so unique.

When Gordon Sterling called Elder Ford to ask for leave for Sean Lowell, Elder Ford thought Sean Lowell was coerced by Gordon Sterling.

Upon knowing it was Sean Lowell's own wish, Elder Ford was nearly grinning ear to ear: "What your master could teach you, has been taught almost completely, you can play in the city as long as you want, get some worldly experiences, and if you can bring back a disciple grandson to your master, that would be even better."

Making Sean Lowell an "ascetic" was not Elder Ford's original intent.

He initially limited Sean Lowell's contact with the outside world out of fear that young people today couldn't settle down, thinking that after a year or two Sean Lowell could return to normal life.

Little did he know, Sean Lowell pursued the path of the "ascetic" unfalteringly, leaving Elder Ford worried if Sean Lowell would keep at it with wine for the rest of his life.

Sean Lowell very rarely made a request to his agent: "If you're off the broadcast and I haven't returned, then come pick me up tomorrow, I'll give you the address then."

The agent sternly refused: "No, you need to return, otherwise what happens when Elder Ford asks me for you? Yesterday, after being splashed, you turned into a weird flower. Just wait here, I'll come find you after the broadcast. If you drink yourself sick again, I'll beat you so hard, you won't find your way home."

"Alright then, we'll change places now, and I'll let Mr. Vaughn send me to your place later. You can broadcast peacefully." Sean Lowell chose to compromise because he couldn't out-talk Gordon Sterling.

When it came to eloquence, Sean Lowell, not to mention five years of practice, even five generations wouldn't match Gordo.

"If you drink yourself sick again, I guarantee this year's annual gala will be the last, ah." Gordon Sterling directly threatened.

He probably forgot who it was, using that persuasive tongue, convinced Sean Lowell to come down once a year.

Ending the call with Gordon Sterling, Sean Lowell took a deep breath, pressed his temples firmly, shaking his head to keep himself awake:

"I apologize for the loss of control at the restaurant earlier, especially to Miss Summer Fairmont, it got a bit out of hand at the time."
