Everyone fell silent for a moment after Chloe Shaw's comment.
Until Zia Sutton slowly said, "Now she's finally been punished by my sister."
Thea Shaw chuckled, "Pretty much, though it's a shame the bodyguards didn't get a few more hits in before the police arrived too quickly..."
"But you shouldn't have gone on your own!"
Mr. Sutton immediately scolded Thea Shaw, and she went quiet right away.
She couldn't explain that she had to be the bait to lure June Sherman in to thoroughly ruin her, the family only thought it was too dangerous for her to go alone.
As a punishment, Thea Shaw was grounded.
Even though it's a bit inappropriate to ground someone of her age, especially since she's interning at a company.
But now Mr. Sutton specifically stipulated that she must travel to and from work with Aurora Sutton and go straight home afterwards. No dates with Landon Ford—at most, they could meet at home.
The restriction was for a week.
Thea Shaw had no objections, of course.
