Yu Xia glared at him irritably and handed him the warm ginger jujube soup she brought.
"It's cold here, have some."
Xie Qingci pulled a stool to sit in front of her, looked at the thermos emitting steam, and smiled gently.
"Did you make this?"
"Who else would be so kind?" She pulled out a box of cookies, "My sister-in-law taught me how to make them, you're the first to try, make sure to appreciate it."
The cookies had nut bits on them. Xie Qingci ate one, looked up at her again: "It's not particularly sweet."
Yu Xia closed the lid: "Some people don't really like overly sweet things."
Xie Qingci chuckled and, after swallowing a few bites, stood up and said: "Someone just invited the whole crew for some local specialties, I'll bring you some to try."
Yu Xia waited, meanwhile chatting with his assistant and others who gathered around, learning about Xie Qingci's routine on set.
