The person being reprimanded was a tall woman, her head bowed, long hair covering her cheeks, remaining silent in the face of criticism.
There were quite a few people in the opposite office, all looking up at the scene with varied expressions, among them ridicule and mockery.
"Do you know why someone as young as you managed to reach this position? If you came in through connections, don't try to show off recklessly."
The man in the suit had a gloomy expression and shouted angrily:
"A deal worth millions, without proper verification, and now something goes wrong. Who's responsible?"
"Me," the woman replied softly:
"I'll take responsibility."
"You take responsibility?" The man in the suit sneered:
"A loss of millions, how will you take responsibility?"
"Do you realize that the entire department, even the whole company, has to bear the consequences of your mistake? And yet, you say you'll take responsibility, just because you have a big face?"
