It was a call from her friend Mona Summers.
Cecilia Vaughn immediately answered the phone.
"Cecilia, didn't you say school was starting, and you wanted me to go shopping with you for some clothes and stuff?"
Mona's clear and pleasant voice reminded Cecilia, and she suddenly remembered this plan!
She hadn't been to school for three years, and now returning, she needed to prepare some outfits and study supplies.
She quickly nodded.
"Yes, yes, I almost forgot. Mona, have you had breakfast? Let's meet at the shopping street at 9 o'clock."
...
Seeing Cecilia hang up the phone, the man's almond-shaped eyes gazed at her.
"Don't you like the clothes at home? Tell me your preferences, and I can have Wyatt reorder them."
It wasn't that she didn't like them.
The spacious walk-in closet in the villa was almost filled with clothes and shoes Adrian Law had prepared for her, as well as various beauty products.
