They would send one person into the water to grab the other players' ankles, eliminating opponents at crossover points who posed a threat in the ball snatching and also causing point deductions for others.
Zhang Li and Chuchu were too squeamish to do this, so they stayed on top to snatch the ball.
This idea was the same as Mu Qiu's, except that she wasn't as ruthless as to take down enemies with her self-sacrifice.
After Guan Yu pulled Li Yang into the water, others quickly caught on to her strategy. Shu Ran immediately copied, saying to the soaked Li Yang: "Just stay underwater to pull people down; anyway, you'll only lose points once! Plus, it's convenient for revenge."
Luckily, the cloth strip was soft and wide, so even though it got stuck between his legs, Li Yang let out a couple of howls and flipped over into the water. Had it been something hard like a railing... oof.
