Su Ruan raised a broad smile, tiptoed slightly, and lightly pecked Lu Shinian's lips.
The dragonfly-like kiss clearly couldn't satisfy Lu Shinian. His gaze darkened as he lowered his eyes, his chest rising and falling, and his hand, hanging at one side, clenched instantly, veins bulging under his uniform.
He released Su Ruan with an indifferent expression, revealing nothing of his thoughts.
"I'm going to the study to handle some things."

As he spoke, he patted Su Ruan's hair and quickly left, walking briskly towards the study upstairs.

She turned off the Light Brain and headed upstairs.
Reaching the study door, she tentatively knocked but received no response.
Su Ruan pressed her lips together, placing a hand on the doorknob, gently pressing down, and the door opened a crack.
She peeked inside but could only see darkness.
"Commander Lu?" Su Ruan tentatively called out, still without any response.
She cautiously pushed the door open, but before she could move, a gust of wind hit, and the door slammed shut with a "bang".
The next second, she was pinned against the door, unable to move.
A hot breath surrounded her as Lu Shinian's furry head rubbed against her neck, murmuring something indistinctly.
Recognizing it was Lu Shinian, Su Ruan's body relaxed. She wrapped one arm around his waist and propped herself on his shoulder, speaking, "Commander Lu?"
