Zhang Yuan stopped at the sound.
He turned around and saw a man in a sturdy shirt catching up.
This man appeared to be in his twenties, almost thirty, with dark skin, a fit build, and bright eyes.
He clasped his fists in salute and said, "Brother Zhang Yuan, I'm Chen Zhize. I'd like to talk to you about something, if that's convenient?"
Zhang Yuan asked curiously, "You know me?"
"Just got to know you."
Chen Zhize smiled and said, "I'm also here for the patrol test, just like you, didn't make it to the third round!"
Zhang Yuan realized, "So what's the matter?"
Chen Zhize gestured an invitation, "Let's sit down and talk at that teahouse over there."
Zhang Yuan thought for a moment, and agreed.
He didn't sense any malice from Chen Zhize and guessed that the reason he was approached likely had to do with the elimination from the patrol test.
