Serena Sutton eagerly asked, "How is it?"
Professor Sutton cleared his throat and said with a smile, "The dishes my daughter made... have my signature style. They're decent." Yet, the thick slices of asparagus lettuce weren't cooked.
Hearing Mr. Sutton's comment, everyone else hesitated to pick up their chopsticks. Ms. Hayes took a piece of potato from the ribs and potatoes dish, tasted it, and nodded in approval, "Hmm, not bad."
Norbert Suttun squinted his eyes slightly, then lazily started to eat without saying a word.
Nathan Sutton was the last to start eating. Since everyone else had tried it, the taste must not be bad. So, he picked a piece of asparagus lettuce. Hmm, it wasn't cooked.
However, he still swallowed it expressionlessly. As for the other dishes, they weren't particularly tasty, but not bad either—indeed, very much in Old Sutton's style.
