He was probably speaking in their village's dialect, and words like drought ritual and offering could be vaguely heard.
A flame of anger began to rise in her chest, and her cold and clear voice stood out sharply amidst the noise.

After she uttered these words, everyone, including the village chief, instinctively looked in her direction.
Some people knew her identity, while others had never seen her before.
Yet, both groups revealed the same astonishment and greed in their eyes.
Once again, it was that same gaze as if looking at an object.
Seeing someone interrupting the ritual, the village chief squinted his eyes in displeasure.
But because he saw it was Mu Yunchu, he didn't immediately order the villagers to take action.
"Rest assured, your fate won't be much better than theirs."
