Mu Yunchu was led into the bedroom by Yang Ying, who discreetly closed the bedroom door.
She had the other lie down on her recently purchased beauty bed.
"Although you're still young, if you can't use this yourself, it's perfect to give to an elder in the family or a sister."
Turning around, she picked up a pile of bottles and jars, subtly guiding Mu Yunchu to talk about her family matters.
"How many people are in your family?"
"Do you have any siblings?"
"At your age, you should have a boyfriend by now, right?"
...
They all sounded like the casual family questions someone her age might ask, but it always gave Mu Yunchu the illusion that Yang Ying wanted to understand her social relationships.
Unfortunately, although Mu Yunchu seemed gentle and approachable, she spoke with guarded precision. From the conversation, not much of the information Yang Ying wanted was obtained.
Yet, Yang Ying wasn't discouraged.
