The footsteps in the corridor grew closer and closer, seemingly already at the laboratory's doorstep.
The heavy atmosphere lingered inside the laboratory, and the soldiers were ready to open fire the moment an intruder appeared.
The next second, a boy dressed like a high school student turned a corner and approached. He acted as if the fully armed soldiers didn't exist at all and headed straight for the isolation room.
From Ah Gu's perspective, this scene was utterly irrational.
