Something's off!
Clearly something's off!
10 million in cash was entrusted to just two security guards to lock inside a house, with no supervision, and neither the accountant nor the boss was present.
How is that possible?
"When did they come out of the bank?"
Lu Chuan noted the time a few people came out of the bank.
The bank where they withdrew the money is the only branch in North Haizhou City, located on Beizhou Road. It's about 25 kilometers from the mine.
Traffic isn't heavy on the north side of the city, and the road from the bank to the mine is relatively clear. Generally, driving from the Beizhou Road branch takes about 30 minutes.
"The day of the crime, 3:30 in the afternoon."
Chen Jiang remembers it clearly; they left the bank on the day of the crime at 3:30 PM.
Others noted Lu Chuan's inquiry about the timing and realized there might be something illogical here.
Wang Zhaokai quickly dug out the front gate photo.
"Haha, something's off! It's indeed off!"
