Chapter 101: The One That Got Away
The morning sun over Seoul was bright and the humidity was already rising. Inside the luxury hotel restaurant the air conditioning was blasting cold air.
Michael Sterling sat at a table by the window. He was drinking black coffee.
Opposite him Arthur Milton was fighting a battle with a pair of chopsticks. He was trying to pick up a piece of Kimchi.
"It is slippery Boss," Arthur complained. "The cabbage does not want to be eaten. It is resisting arrest."
"Use a fork Arthur," Michael said without looking up from his tablet.
"No," Arthur insisted. "I am in Korea. I must respect the culture. Even if I starve."
Arthur finally managed to grab the spicy cabbage and shoved it into his mouth. He chewed happily.
"Delicious," Arthur said. "Spicy. It wakes up the soul."
Michael smiled. But his mind was not on breakfast. It was on the transfer market.
