Chapter 99
Soft rumbling fills the air… a low, heavy pulsethen silence.
The wind froze.
Dust shimmered in golden light.
Januza's small voice trembled first.
"M…Mother?"
Azerin's eyes widened beside him, his chest heaving as his pupils reflected what stood before them.
Her....Arin their mother… but not the one who tucked them into bed every night.
What stood before them now… was something else.
A being wrapped in radiance and shadow, her golden hair flowing like ribbons of molten sun, her eyes no longer gentle..burning like twin comets ready to devour the world.
The ground beneath her cracked as energy rippled outward, fracturing reality itself.
Januza gasped, stumbling back.
" What.....Mother… your body… it's glowing…"
Arin turned her head slightly, the corners of her lips curling into a sad smile.
"Stay behind your father," she said, her voice echoing, layered as if a thousand voices spoke in harmony.
Kael's voice ripped through the air.
"Let's go!" he screamed, grabbing both boys by the arm. "We're going to run as fast as we can! Alert all the villagers everyone needs to take shelter!"
"Father!" Azerin shouted as Kael dragged him. "What's going on?! Who is mother?! What was that form?!"
Kael's face twisted with panic and pain.
"No time to explain! Just move! Move!"
"Let's go!!!"
The earth rumbled.
From the sky above thunder tore open the clouds.
Arin turned one last time toward her family. Her eyes softened.
"I love you, Kael…" she whispered.
And then—BOOOOOOM!!!—a pulse of divine energy exploded from her body, shaking the mountain ridges, flattening the trees, sending the birds scattering into the red clouds above.
She turned her gaze skyward. Her golden eyes narrowed as she felt their presence.
"They're coming…"
Her expression hardened.
"Now then…" her voice dropped low, divine and furious. "Shall we begin?"
(The sky splits.)
From the storm above, shapes began to emerge radiant and terrible.
Eleven silhouettes, each one blazing with godly light.
The Creator Gods.
Each descended slowly, as if the world itself trembled in obedience.
Their divine signatures painted the sky red, violet, blue, black each power bending the air around them.
Only one stood beneath them.
One figure.
Arin—the God of Erasure.
The mother of Destruction and Corruption.
The strongest of all the gods.
Vrahl the God of Primordial Chaos, cloaked in black flame—grinned wide, his tongue sliding across his lips.
"Kaelrus…" he hissed to the tall, silver-haired god beside him. "Ooooo, do you feel that? Her aura… it's weakened. Heh-heh-heh. You feel it too, don't you?"
Kaelrus the Warden of Storm raised his spear, thunder crackling along its edge.
"Yes…" he growled. "If it were before, we wouldn't even be able to stand this close to her without suffocating…"
He grinned. "This is good…"
Then threw back his head..
"HAHAHAHA!! INTERESTING!!!"
Lightning ripped across the heavens, roaring like a living beast.
Seraphae the Goddess of Damned Souls, her wings black as crows floated forward, her voice slicing through the wind.
"Arin-sama!" she called mockingly. "You… are weak. Finally. Finally! Sixteen thousand years I have waited… to cut you down!"
Another god stepped forward, his skin crimson and eyes burning with rage Tyrak, God of Wrath.
"Arin-sama!" he bellowed. "You will die today!"
Arin raised her gaze.
"Shut up," she said coldly.
(FWOOM.)
Her eyes opened golden rings flaring, power roaring outward like a shockwave.
Even the light itself bent around her.
"Do you forget who I am?"
The sound hit like thunder.
Every god flinched as her voice shook the atmosphere itself.
Ragnar the God of War felt it first. His hands began to tremble.
Stomp! Stomp!
"O-oi… Vrahl…" he stammered. "I… I thought you said she was weak!"
Vrahl blinked, his grin faltering.
"She is! She's lost half her essence!"
But Ragnar could feel it the weight pressing on his soul.
Seraphae glanced at him, her smile fading when she saw the terror in his eyes.
Arin's gaze locked onto him cold, golden, absolute.
Ragnar's body froze. Sweat poured down his temples.
She...
"She isn't weak, Vrahl…" he whispered. "She isn't weak at all…"
"What do you mean?!" Vrahl snapped.
Ragnar turned. "I can't do it. I can't—do—this!"
Then—WHOOSH!!! he's aura ignited as he shot upward, fleeing through the sky, breaking through the clouds in blind panic.
"RAGNAR!!!" Kaelrus roared.
Ragnar's voice echoed as he vanished into the heavens
"RUN, KAELRUS! IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU RUN!!!"
"Tch…" Vrahl clicked his teeth, anger flaring.
Velaros the God of Sins laughed softly, folding his arms.
"Let him run…" he said. "It's her against ten."
He grinned down at Arin.
"All our lives we've lived in fear. But today…" he pointed his clawed hand toward her. "…your death will be by my hands."
Arin tilted her head slightly, a soft smile spreading across her lips.
"My death…?" she whispered.
The air bent around her, pressure rising.
"Do you think I'm weak… Velaros?" she said, her tone calm and venomous.
Her eyes locked onto his.
"I'll say this again…" she stepped forward, the ground beneath her melting. "…do you forget who I am?"
Seraphae's laughter echoed through the storm.
"Who you are? No No you misunderstand, Arin-sama… it's who you were! You will die today!"
(Silence.)
Then a voice.
Faint but clear inside Arin's head.
"Arin Arin… are you okay?"
Her heart stopped.
"Kael?" she whispered under her breath.
The gods above blinked. "Who is she talking to?" Kaelrus murmured.
But Arin ignored them, focusing on the voice.
"Kael… are you okay? What about the boys?"
"They're fine! We're at the village's main square! You can't hold back anymore they're safe now!"
A small smile crossed Arin's lips.
"Kael…"
"Pls come back to me, Arin."
Her hand clenched into a fist.
"I will… my love."
She exhaled deeply then opened her eyes.
(BOOOOOOOOM!!!)
A massive explosion of energy erupted within her shaking the whole planet!
Her aura—once golden shifted to deep sapphire.
Her eyes burned blue… with six glowing rings spiraling within.
Impossible that's!!
"The Eyes of Alcaraz…" whispered Seraphae, her voice trembling.
Ooii.. Vrahl!!! How does she still has that eye!!
Vrahl stepped back, horrified.
"Impossible! I thought she lost them! She shouldn't have this power anymore!"
"How, how?…" he muttered. "How did I get it wrong…?!"
Arin raised her hand slowly, shifting her gaze to Velaros.!
"You said I would die by your hand, Velaros?"
Velaros grinned, defiant.
"INTERESTING Arin-sama! You still boast of so much powereven when weakened! But this time..."
(SPLAT.)
....
His words died.
Arin's arm had already pierced through his chest.
Her hand burst through his back, clutching his still-beating heart.
No one saw her move.
Velaros' eyes widened, his mouth gaping silently.
"Fa...She's… fast…" he thought. "I didn't… see her move…"
The shockwave of her motion alone sent Kaelrus and Seraphae and the other gods flying backward, tearing through the storm.
Kaelrus crashed into the ground coughing blood.
"Impossible…!" he rasped. "With just speed?!"
Arin's expression didn't change. Her voice was quiet, almost sad.
"Weak…?" she repeated softly.
"You think I'm weak?"
She lifted Velaros higher by the throat, her gaze sharp as ice.
"I told you… did you forget who I am?"
Velaros's body trembled.
Arin-sama!!
"My… my lord… mercy—mer!!"
(CRACK!!!)
"Die."
(BOOOOOOOM!!!)
Velaros's body exploded into a storm of black blood and divine ash.
SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!
The others stared, horrified.
Seraphae screamed.
"VELAROS!!!"
Arin stood among the falling ash, her body dripping with divine black blood, her six glowing eyes fixed on the remaining gods.
She whispered one word...
"Next."
(The sky rumbled again. Lightning split the clouds. The gods of creation trembled as the mother of Destruction smiled beneath the storm…)
Arin stood in silence. Her eyes glowed faintly, her hair lifting as energy pulsed around her. The other gods watched, frozen, unsure of what was coming next.
She raised her hand…
and snapped her fingers.
GBIM!!!
A deep, thunder-like sound exploded through the heavens.
Light shattered.
Sound vanished.
And then darkness.
Everywhere was black. No stars. No ground. Only a heavy emptiness that pressed against their chests. The air felt alive, whispering with strange voices that spoke their names.
Then, a red glow spread slowly across the darkness, revealing a world that twisted like a nightmare.
The sky bled.
The ground moved like liquid shadows.
Mountains floated upside down, and rivers of fire flowed in circles above them.
It was a world where the laws of creation were broken.
A world where Arin's power was absolute.
Suddenly, a shadow covered them.
They looked up..and saw her.
Arin towered above them, larger than mountains, her eyes burning like two suns in a dying sky. The air trembled just from her presence.
Isaka, Goddess of Flames (breathing heavily):
"Wh–where are we?"
Varhl, God of Earth (staring, voice shaking):
"Impossible… This place… this is..."
He couldn't finish. His words failed him.
Arin slowly lifted one hand, her expression unreadable.
She pointed at the remaining nine gods.
Arin (her voice echoing across the dimension):
"Come… let me show you what true power looks like."
