Vegeta was cooking while waving to Beerus. "Almost done! Crispy outside, soft inside—you'll love it!"
Beerus stood with his hands behind his back, frowning. "Weird… I don't even feel angry anymore."
Whis chuckled. "That's because getting mad only makes you hungry, Lord Beerus."
"By the way, have you ever tried pudding before?"
"Pudding?" Beerus blinked, totally confused.
Whis beamed. "It's silky smooth and delicious. You'd love it."
Beerus's ears perked up. "Oh? Where is it?"
"Follow me."
Everyone glanced at Vegeta still sweating over the stove. Bulma teased, "You're doing amazing today, honey. All for your dear wife."
"Yeah, I'm actually touched, Vegeta!"
Vegeta rolled his eyes. "Tch, quit the chatter."
Meanwhile, Majin Buu was happily scarfing down pudding cups when Whis and Beerus walked over.
"Sorry to intrude," Whis said politely. "The shopkeeper said they sold out of pudding. Could you spare one for us?"
Beerus leaned forward, eyes locked on Buu's spoon. "So that's it… soft, shiny…"
"Looks really tasty," he muttered.
Buu instantly scooped up every pudding on the table. "These are all mine!"
Whis tried again. "We've come from a faraway planet. If we miss this chance, who knows when we'll ever taste pudding again?"
Buu grinned wickedly and licked every single pudding with his tongue. "I'm strong, so I get more! Problem with that?"
Beerus's smile dropped into a scowl. "That's your excuse?"
At that exact moment, Vegeta came carrying his finished dish—only to see Buu and Beerus glaring each other down. His hands shook, and the whole plate crashed to the floor. "Oh crap…"
The tension between the two skyrocketed.
"Stop!" Vegeta shouted, panicking.
Buu struck first, fists slamming into Beerus's face in a rapid barrage.
Whis sighed. "This won't end well."
Buu's punches grew heavier, his fists glowing with terrifying power. He threw a massive punch that ripped through the air.
BOOM!
Beerus calmly raised one hand and caught it.
Buu's eyes went wide. No matter how hard he pushed, he couldn't break free of Beerus's grip.
Beerus said coldly, "I'm usually a very patient god… but there's one thing I can never forgive."
He yanked Buu overhead, spun him like a ragdoll, and hurled him across the sky.
Beerus vanished, reappearing instantly above. He grabbed Buu by his antenna and sneered. "Disrespect. Selfishness. I don't tolerate it."
He flung Buu again, then summoned a golden sphere of energy and blasted it down.
BOOOOM!
The explosion swallowed the sea, waves crashing violently in every direction. The cruise ship rocked so hard people could barely stand.
Vegeta's face drained of color. "It's over. We're doomed…"
Krillin muttered to him, "Hey, isn't that guy your acquaintance or something?"
Sweat poured down Vegeta's forehead.
Bulma yelled, "Vegeta! Do something! Punish that rude idiot already!"
Vegeta floated into the air, trembling. "L-Lord Beerus… please, I beg you… calm down! I'll make sure that disrespectful fool is punished properly."
Beerus glared. "Don't get in my way. Move!"
"If you want pudding, I'll have them make more right away!" Vegeta stammered.
"I SAID MOVE!" Beerus roared.
Vegeta slowly descended, defeated.
Piccolo, watching from below, frowned. "Vegeta's terrified… just who is this guy?"
He glanced at Dende, who was shaking with fear.
"Dende, what's wrong?" Piccolo asked.
Dende's voice cracked. "This aura… I've never felt anything like it."
Suddenly, Buu burst out of the ocean, dripping wet and furious. "You bastard! I'll never forgive you!" He charged at Beerus, only to be blocked by a casual kick.
Beerus countered with a swift strike, blasting Buu straight into the cruise ship.
Hovering above, Beerus growled, "No Super Saiyan God. No pudding. Whis, destroy this planet. We're leaving."
Whis raised a hand. "Lord Beerus, please wait—"
"No! If we stay, I'll destroy even you!" Beerus snapped, his fingertip glowing with destructive light.
"Let's go, Goten!"
"You got it, Trunks!"
The two boys fused in a flash of light, becoming Gotenks.
"Superhero Gotenks has arrived!" he announced, flying right up to Beerus. "How dare you ruin this party! Keep it up, and I'll make you pay!"
Beerus frowned. "Get lost."
Gotenks smirked. "Guess I've got no choice but to fight you! Ultimate Million-Ton Spinning Punch!"
He spun forward and smashed Beerus in the chest—only for Beerus to stand there, totally unfazed.
"Was that supposed to do something?" Beerus asked flatly.
Gotenks's jaw dropped. "No way… impossible!" He launched a flurry of punches. "I'll protect the grand prize Dragon Balls no matter what!"
Beerus pinched his fist between two fingers. "Dragon Balls? Are those tasty?"
"Wha—?!" Gotenks struggled, yanking at his trapped hand. "Why can't I break free?! You monster!"

—Meanwhile, in the Other World—
King Kai was pacing frantically. "It's over… totally over! Why'd those idiots have to provoke Lord Beerus of all people?!"
The Supreme Kai stared at the screen. "And Majin Buu, living peacefully with Earthlings? Impossible… that creature is pure terror!"
...
—Back on Earth—
Beerus looked unimpressed. "So? What kind of food are these Dragon Balls?"
"They're not food, you moron!" Gotenks shouted.
Beerus released his hand, and Gotenks quickly retreated.
"You dare mock me?" Beerus's expression darkened. "I'm done playing with kids."
In just a few moves, he knocked Gotenks out cold.
"This planet's finished."
Piccolo and the others shot into the sky. "Earth destroyed? We can't just stand by!"
"Who are you really?!" Piccolo demanded.
"No need for introductions," Beerus replied calmly. "I destroy everything."
They attacked in unison, but Beerus casually weaved through every strike. Then his eyes flashed, unleashing a shockwave that blew them all away like leaves in a storm.
They crashed onto the ship, helpless.
Dende rushed to heal Piccolo, who muttered in disbelief, "He didn't even touch us… and still crushed us like that."
