Chapter 302 - A Date With Temari

The two entered the main gate, Temari following closely by Shun's side. Her gaze often stole glances at his tall, distinguished profile.

This man was too strong, too mysterious, not to mention his handsome face. Even when he frowned in thought, he exuded a fatal attraction. These qualities almost fulfilled all her imaginings of an ideal partner.

Temari secretly snuggled into his arms, tracing his sleeve. Her heart pounded as if it would explode.

She pouted playfully, "Shun, can you teach me Nature Mode?"

Shun gently placed his hand on her waist, feeling the soft curve of her body in his palm and said, "What's the rush? Nature Mode requires a gradual approach."

"I don't care, I want to learn it now."

Temari stared at him with sparkling eyes, even daring to hook her arms around his neck, pulling them closer.

Shun couldn't resist the expectation and curiosity in her eyes and nodded. "Alright, don't move around, relax your mind."

Genjutsu: Sharingan.

He activated his Eternal Mangekyo, implanting all the knowledge of Nature Mode into Temari's memory.

When Temari opened her eyes, the shock hadn't faded.

When she saw Shun's face so close, a sudden impulse surged in her heart.

She had never been so brave in her life. In the Land of Wind, she was the proper daughter of the Kazekage.

After meeting Shun, however, she couldn't help but want to get closer, to act spoiled, to tell him all her little secrets.

She suddenly stood on her tiptoes and quickly pressed a light kiss on the corner of his lips.

The moment their lips touched, both of them froze. The sensation was as soft as cotton candy, yet it made her cheeks flush instantly, even her earlobes turning pink.

She hastily retreated half a step, her voice shy and urgent. "That kiss just now was a reward for teaching me Nature Mode. You're my fiancé, so teaching me skills is only right. Besides... I only know you here since I came with you."

Her eyelashes trembled slightly, and her voice gradually softened, carrying a hint of pleading. "I've never been in love, yet I became your fiancée just like that. I've never even gone shopping with someone. Can you accompany me shopping just once? Even if it's just once in this lifetime, I want to experience what it feels like to be in love."

Shun was slightly stunned by this sudden stolen kiss.

He listened to her soft, wronged plea, and saw her eyes filled with anxiety but also anticipation.

He took her hand, saying with extreme tenderness, "Silly girl, who said only once?"

He raised his hand and ruffled her hair, his fingertips brushing her reddened earlobe.

"I'll not only accompany you to the market but also take you to the commercial street and shopping mall. There are milk teas you've never tasted and desserts that are sweet to the heart."

"Really? You're not lying to me?"

Temari looked up, her eyes bright like stars. The previous sense of injustice instantly vanished, replaced by disbelief and pleasant surprise.

Shun smiled and nodded. "I'm not lying to you, come in. Someone, prepare dinner for Temari, and add a few extra desserts."

The maids responded and walked out. Seeing the two standing hand in hand, the atmosphere intimate, they discreetly lowered their heads and quietly set the dining table.

Temari sat at the dining table, unable to suppress the smile on her lips.

So, this is what it feels like to be in love. Someone remembers your small expectations, the warmth of holding hands, the earnestness of a promise.

The sun was setting outside the window, and dinner was quickly prepared.

Shun raised his hand to wipe away the frosting on Temari's lips, his eyes full of tenderness.

"From now on, in the Land of Water, you can eat whenever you want."

The next afternoon, Central Commercial Street.

As Temari followed Shun out of the spatial passage, she was instantly stunned by the sight before her, stopping in her tracks.

This was no "market". On both sides of the wide concrete road were dozens of stories high buildings.

On the commercial street, various brand stores, snack shops, and drink shops were dazzlingly arrayed.

Western Region Silk Shop... Deep Sea Pearl Pavilion... Sweet Honey Milk Tea Shop, etc.

Even the air was filled with the sweet aroma of milk tea and the smoky scent of barbecue.

Pedestrians on the street wore stable smiles, and occasionally children ran past with paper kites, but it didn't feel chaotic.

This was the "Paradise" spoken of by the Ninja World, where even the wind carried a gentle scent.

"What are you spacing out for? Didn't you want to see the commercial street?"

Shun gently took her hand, smiling as he pointed to a steaming milk tea shop not far away.

"Want to grab a milk tea first? I heard that shop's milk tea suits the taste of the Land of Wind better."

Temari then snapped out of it and hurriedly followed his steps. "This place is even more beautiful than what the merchants said."

The milk tea shop was warm and cozy. On the wooden counter, there were a dozen stainless steel jars, each containing different flavored tea bases.

Seeing someone enter, the staff member quickly greeted them with a smile, "Excuse me, guests, what would you like?"

"Two cups of double sea buckthorn fruit pulp."

The staff brought two cups of milk tea. Orange-red sea buckthorn juice mixed with milky white tea, topped with plump sea buckthorn fruit pulp. A straw could easily reach it.

Temari cautiously took a sip. The sweet and sour taste of sea buckthorn mixed with milk dissolved on her tongue.

Her eyes instantly lit up. "So delicious! It's even more refreshing than the sago milk tea in the Land of Wind."

Watching her satisfied expression, Shun picked up his own cup of milk tea and gently clinked it against hers.

He said, "If you like it, drink more. There are many more dessert shops ahead. Buy whatever you want, drink whatever you want, as long as you're happy."

The two walked hand in hand on the commercial street, followed by three maids. They carried empty wicker baskets, maintaining a distance of two steps.

Passing by a silk shop, Temari was attracted by a pale pink silk in the display window.

"This color is so gentle, it would look beautiful as clothes."

Shun followed her gaze, smiled, and pushed the door open. "Want to go in and look? If you like it, buy it."

The staff member quickly took out the silk. Temari touched the fabric, it was soft as a cloud, but she felt a bit embarrassed.

"Won't it be too much trouble?"

Shun picked up the silk and handed it to the maid behind him. "Trouble? Wrap it up. Someone, pay the bill."

The maid respectfully took it, skillfully placed it in the basket, and thoughtfully asked, "Does Temari-sama need a custom size? We can contact the workshop, and it can be ready within three days."

Temari paused, then realized she didn't need to worry about it herself, her cheeks slightly flushed.

She pulled Shun and hurried out of the shop. "Let's go eat dessert, I think I just smelled the aroma of red bean paste."

In the dessert shop, the shaved ice was piled like a small mountain, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with crushed peanuts.

Temari scooped a spoonful into her mouth. The cold, sweet, and sticky texture made her eyes involuntarily narrow.

Seeing the crushed peanuts on her lips, Shun gently reached out and wiped them away for her. "Eat slowly, no one's going to snatch it from you."

Temari's cheeks grew redder, but she deliberately scooped a spoonful and offered it to his mouth. "You eat some too, this is super sweet."

Shun opened his mouth and ate it, a warm smile on his lips.

After leaving the dessert shop, the two also visited an accessories store.

Temari chose a string of light blue gemstone bracelets, with tiny diamonds embedded in the beads, looking like hidden stars in the sunlight.

As the sun set, the maid's baskets were full.

Temari held Shun's hand as they walked home.

She turned her head to look at the man beside her and suddenly whispered, "Shun, I think I know what it feels like to be in love."

"Oh? What does it feel like?" Shun looked down at her, his eyes full of laughter.

Temari looked up, her eyes bright like the stars in the night sky. "It's... when I'm with you, it feels like even the wind is sweet."
