Aaron nodded, then exchanged drinks with Neil Jordan and Brad Pitt.

"I've been remembering those two times when you were the one in control."
She met his gaze without hesitation.
"Then maybe… we should try that again sometime?"

Out on the hotel balcony, Aaron wrapped an arm around Monica Bellucci.
"How's your film coming along? Finished shooting?"
"Yes," she nodded. "It should be released later this year."

Aaron shook his head.
"These days, the only agencies that can compete with Creative Artists Agency are ICM and William Morris Agency."
Nancy nodded, then got straight to the point.
"I heard Dawnlight invested in Sense and Sensibility. Are you interested in more of Jane Austen's works?"
Aaron nodded.
"Of course. Austen's audience is massive. Do you have a project in mind?"
Nancy replied,
"Pride and Prejudice. The BBC plans to adapt it into a TV series and is looking for an American partner."
She added,
"Since Dawnlight is already working with PolyGram Filmed Entertainment on Sense and Sensibility, your AMC Networks might be interested."
Aaron rubbed his chin, then smiled.
"Pride and Prejudice is actually my favorite Austen novel. There have been many adaptations, but classics endure. Send the script over—I'm very interested in collaborating with the BBC."
The BBC had been actively expanding internationally, especially into the U.S., much like its partnership on Animal Planet.
Aaron continued,
"Actually, AMC would also be interested in deeper collaboration with the BBC—documentaries, comedies, dramas…"
"AMC is expanding beyond films and TV—we're moving into variety shows and talk shows as well."
His goal was clear: to turn AMC into one of the most successful cable networks in the U.S.
Nancy nodded seriously.
"I'll discuss it with the BBC. I doubt they'd refuse a partnership with you."
After all, Dawnlight had already built strong recognition in the UK—producing hits like Four Weddings and a Funeral and backing acclaimed projects like The Crying Game.
After the conversation, Aaron left the hotel with Monica Bellucci.
In the bathroom later, she held him tightly, her lips brushing across his face.

"So, heading back to Italy next?"
She nodded.
"Yes, I'll go home for a while—probably stay up to a month."
She looked at him playfully.
"Want to come with me?"
Aaron smiled.
"Maybe next time. But while you're there, help me buy a vacation villa at Lake Como."
"Then we'll go there together someday."
Lake Como, nestled in the Italian Alps just north of Milan, was one of the most famous scenic destinations in the country.
Monica smiled warmly.
"Alright."
