"Want me to send you there?"
"Sure, sure!"
Having already experienced Taro's teleportation before, Hu Tao didn't bother to act polite.
If such a convenient method existed, why would she choose to tire herself out?
She sighed with admiration.
"Ah, if only I could use teleportation magic too."
"That way I wouldn't have to waste whole days running around. Just—whoosh, whoosh—and I'd be there instantly. How convenient would that be?"
"You want to learn it?"
Taro smiled faintly.
"Too bad—you can't learn it yet."
"Maybe someday, though."
"Forget it."
Hu Tao shook her head quickly. "I was just saying! Don't take it seriously."
"Just send me already, will you? Remember, I have to be there within one hour."
"Don't worry, I'm always on time."
Taro nodded lightly, lifted his hand, and let magic energy flow.
A teleportation array activated beneath her feet—
and in an instant, Hu Tao was gone, sent straight to Wuwang Hill.
After sending her off, Taro turned toward the kitchen.
"Still hiding back there? Dinner's not ready yet?"
"It's ready—it's ready! Chicken soup coming through!"
Yingda hurried out with a pot in her hands.
After setting the bowl down, she leaned close to whisper by his ear:
"Sensei, what's wrong with my sister? Is she… happy now?"
"..."
Taro's temple twitched. He gave her a look.
"Oh? So now that you can't handle it, you're planning to drag your sister into the water too?"
"Careful—she might hit you."
"Hmph~"
Yingda snorted. "Fine, if Sensei doesn't appreciate my concern, I'll just tell her everything."
Smack!
Taro flicked her forehead. "Rebelling now, are you? Sit. Eat."
This girl had been getting bold lately.
A little discipline was necessary.
"Hehe~"
Yingda grinned. "I knew Sensei was too soft-hearted."
"Don't be fooled—my sister might look gentle, but she's way stronger than me. Who knows, next time you might end up underneath her, Sensei~"
"And when that happens, I'll—"
"What will you do?"
Taro arched a brow. "Feeling brave, huh?
Not afraid your sister and I will team up to beat you?"
"Better not beg for mercy later."
Uh-oh. Maybe she'd gone too far.
Her heart thumped—she could already sense danger.
Quickly, she grabbed his arm and pleaded,
"Sensei, I was just kidding! Let's eat first! Eat!"
Really? That was all it took to make her back down?
He hadn't even started scolding her yet.
Weak and playful.
"Sensei, here—have some chicken soup~"
"You drink first."
"Eh? Must we play this game?" she teased. "You're impossible, Sensei—mmph—"
"..."
Taro blinked blankly, spoon halfway to his lips.
Wait. He'd said drink the soup, not feed me the soup!
What on earth—
"..."
Fanan sat there blushing furiously, staring into her bowl like it contained another world.
Huoliya's eyebrow twitched so hard her chopsticks bent.
Oh, so this was how they wanted to play?
Day one, and already this shameless?
Fine. Little sister, just you wait.
"Eat properly."
Seeing Yingda leaning closer again, Taro rapped her lightly on the head.
She needed to learn when to stop.
"Ow—ow, it hurts!"
Holding her head, Yingda looked pitiful.
"But Sensei did tell me to drink the soup!"
"..."
Huoliya muttered, voice low and icy:
"Full of nonsense. Boss told you to drink it, not to feed it."
"Head hurts? Must be a fever. Needs treatment."
"..."
Yingda glared at Huoliya.
Fever? Please.
Who was the one swaying her hips around all day, huh?
"Ahem~"
Taro cleared his throat. "Alright, enough. Eat."
"After dinner, I need to go to Wuwang Hill. You all stay home."
"Fanan, what time is the Qixing meeting tonight?"
Hearing her name, Fanan finally looked up.
"Sensei, it's at Hai hour."
Hai hour—around 10 p.m.
"Good. Still plenty of time."
Taro nodded. "I'll stop by to meet Zhongli, Venti, and the witches before returning."
"You'll come with me."
"Understood."
Fanan nodded seriously.
"What about me?" Yingda asked immediately. "Can I go too?"
"It's official business."
Taro shook his head. "You and Huoliya wait here."
"Right. One more thing."
He leaned back slightly. "I've already entrusted the 'profession and race' project to Fanan."
"While I'm away, discuss your future paths carefully."
"Once you've made your decision, there's no turning back."
He explained, his tone calm but clear.
"In this world's system, once your first class reaches full level and you begin the second,
the first can no longer be changed.
When your second reaches full level and you learn a third, the first two become permanent.
And so on."
In other words, this was how the system's logic worked.
You could reverse it—but only by invoking something like [Twenty-Seven], or through forbidden mechanisms such as the "Eternal Serpent Prison."
However, those methods were unstable; the system would automatically reset you to standard parameters.
Otherwise, your only option was a full account wipe and restart.
Taro knew this better than anyone—
he'd once fallen into that trap and deleted his account entirely.
That experience was enough to burn the rule into his mind.
Now, though, he wasn't sure how much of that logic still applied.
He wanted to experiment again, but this would take time.
Race and class progression—testing them properly would require someone reaching at least level 40.
Given the current experience rate, even with him leading the grind and funneling all EXP to the subject,
that would take a month or two at minimum.
And that was assuming infinite monsters to farm.
How long had it been since he arrived in Teyvat anyway?
"Race and profession, huh?"
Huoliya and Yingda both turned toward Fanan.
Looks like she'd be the one guiding them through this next phase.
"Yes, Sensei."
Fanan straightened her posture, expression serious.
"I'll explain everything carefully. I won't disappoint you."
"Good."
Taro nodded. "Start by finalizing your first class.
As for races, I'm still short on materials. We'll handle that later."
Each of the three had different elemental alignments:
Huoliya's was Cryo,
Yingda's was Pyro,
and Fanan's was Hydro.
For Huoliya, materials were easy—he still had leftover from Ronova's essence.
For Yingda and Fanan, however, he'd need the powers of the Fire Dragon King and Water Dragon King—
one in Natlan, one in Fontaine.
Once he had time, he'd take them both traveling—collect materials and enjoy the journey.
If the dragon kings agreed, fine.
If not… well, a little persuasion from Gungnir would settle that.
Either way, he'd get what he needed.
At least he could be thankful now—
back in the original game, as a member of the Seraph Guild, his morality score was +500.
Bone's morality, on the other hand, was –500.
By the end, Bone's humanity had been completely erased—pure evil incarnate.
Fortunately, when he crossed into this world,
the system's morality constraints no longer bound him.
Otherwise, if he'd retained that +500 Pure Good alignment as an angelic race…
the very thought of it made him shudder.
That would've been a sight too beautiful—and too terrifying—to imagine.
