Relief washed through Kakashi. Mugetsu arrived in time.
If Mugetsu had not come, even if Guy had activated the Sixth Gate and Rock Breathing Chakra Mode, they might still have failed to win.

"Kakashi, you know him?" Obito asked, curiosity breaking through his exhaustion.
Kakashi nodded and quickly relayed everything he knew about Reiki.
"He sounds strong," Obito said, voice steady with confidence. "But he definitely can't beat Teacher Mugetsu."
Obito's chakra and stamina were almost empty, and a strong enemy stood right in front of them, yet he did not panic for even a second. With Mugetsu here, nothing would go wrong.
"That's true," Mugetsu said with a smile, adjusting his black framed glasses. "But confidence needs matching strength."
Reiki's strength was indeed impressive, but he had chosen the wrong opponent. On the entire eastern front, only two Konoha shinobi could defeat Reiki one on one, and he had met one of them.
"Those words are correct," Reiki replied with a calm, confident smile. "And I happen to have enough strength."
He glanced at Raiga and the others. "You don't need to move yet. Let me handle him alone."
It was rare to meet an Ice Release user from another village. Reiki wanted to personally test Mugetsu.
Jinpachi nearly choked on that. A shinobi insisting on a one on one in the middle of a war was ridiculous. This was a battlefield. You killed your enemy by any means necessary.
But Reiki' had just saved him once, so Jinpachi held his tongue.
The rest of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen thought the same and stayed quiet. As for the Mist shinobi Reiki brought, they understood their superior's temperament and were not surprised.
Even if they did not plan to interfere with Mugetsu and Reiki's fight, the Mist shinobi were not idle. They silently spread out, sealing off escape routes, gathering chakra, preparing to strike Kakashi and the others at any moment.

Mugetsu gathered chakra into his hands, transforming it into Armament Haki to shield his fists.

Mugetsu's fist slammed into the ice blade and shattered it outright.
The Mist shinobi accompanying Reiki stared in shock.
Reiki ice was harder than stone, yet Mugetsu broke it with bare hands.

Raiga fainted on the spot.

He was launched through the forest, breaking eight large trees before crashing down and lying motionless.
Mugetsu did not pause.
Because the second kunai had already reached Jinpachi.

The shift was too sudden. Jinpachi had not even understood what happened to Raiga when Mugetsu appeared in front of him through Flying Thunder God.

Ninjutsu poured down on Mugetsu like a violent storm.
Mugetsu responded by forming a Shadow Clone.
"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!"
"Wind Release: Pressure Damage!"
Mugetsu's main body gathered chakra in his throat, performed Nature Transformation in an instant, and spewed out flames until a sea of fire spread in front of him.
At the same time, the clone spat a high pressure wind sphere.
The moment wind met flame, it became a terrifying hurricane.
Wind fed the fire, and the sea of flames exploded in intensity, reducing nearby trees to black ash in moments.

The Yellow Flash had used other jutsu before, but they did not resemble this.
Has his strength advanced again? Reiki felt a chill at the thought.
Minato Namikaze was only twenty. He was in a phase of rapid growth, full of possibilities.
No, Reiki corrected himself, shaking his head. It can't be calculated like that. It just means he can handle more situations.
The combination ninjutsu was strong, but its compatibility with Flying Thunder God was terrible.
Mugetsu could not teleport and then casually form hand seals in someone's face. Even the slowest person would not be hit by that kind of setup.
