Chapter 337 - Chapter 337: Conquering the West! The Condition of the Dog Empress

[Multiverse Mission Chat Group]

Eula: "Do you think our world will ever face an 'Age of Mappo'? If elemental energy dries up... no living creature could resist it."

Ganyu: "I doubt it. Teyvat is so rich in energy, it birthed the Demon Gods (Archons)."

Hu Tao: "But... no new Demon Gods have been born in the last thousand years!"

Her words caused a sudden silence. It was the first time they had seriously considered the end of magic. Zhongli's previous mentions of "erosion" suddenly felt much more ominous.

Lisa: "I don't think Hu Tao is entirely correct. The lack of new Demon Gods isn't necessarily a bad thing. Think about it... what was Teyvat like when Gods walked everywhere?"

Shenhe: "Master told me stories. During the Archon War, Liyue was a disaster zone. Places like Dunyu Ruins and Guili Plains were human settlements that had to be abandoned because of the collateral damage from fighting Gods."

Rosalyne: "So... the death of the Gods is actually returning power to the world?"

Lisa: "Exactly. Just like the Thunderbird on Seirai Island—when she died, her power became the eternal storm. Before she was born, she must have absorbed that lightning from the world. A balance. The world is safer now for humanity."

Su Han: "Enough philosophy. Our world will not run out of spiritual energy. And even if it does, it doesn't matter. When we are strong enough, we will simply invade higher-tier worlds. If we lack resources, we take them. If we lack energy, we plunder it. We will ensure Teyvat endures forever."

Beidou: "Haha! Now that's a captain's logic! We just robbed the Feudal Era of tens of thousands of people to build our cities. Plunder for prosperity!"

Zhongli: "I find myself agreeing with Su Han's logic. Everyone, please continue to cultivate diligently."

Even the retired Geo Archon felt his battle spirit stir. If Teyvat's survival was ever threatened, he would not hesitate to conquer other worlds to save his home.

The next morning, Su Han woke up in the military camp. He had stayed the night to handle the upcoming diplomatic meeting.

At 10:00 AM, Kaedehara Kazuha arrived with the VIP.

Inukimi (Sesshomaru's Mother), the ruler of the Western Lands, walked through the modernized village. Her golden eyes widened slightly at the sight of electrical towers, paved roads, and soldiers whose auras felt as heavy as mountains.

What kind of human city is this?

She was escorted to the command tent.

There, she saw a man sitting at a desk, eating breakfast.

Instantly, Inukimi's demonic instincts flared. Every cell in her body screamed submission. She couldn't sense an ounce of demonic or spiritual energy from him, yet his presence was suffocating. He was like a black hole—calm, invisible, but capable of crushing anything that got too close.

"Master," Kazuha bowed. "The Lord of the West."

"Dismissed," Su Han nodded.

Inukimi looked at Su Han. "Are you the Electro Archon?"

"No," Su Han smiled, taking a sip of tea. "I'm just a mortal. My wife is the Electro Archon. Have a seat. Let's talk business."

"A mortal?" Inukimi frowned, sitting down. "A mortal whose aura forces me to lower my head? I find that hard to believe."

"Mortals can surpass Gods through cultivation," Su Han said casually. "But let's skip the small talk. I want the Western Lands to join Inazuma. Your people will be relocated to Seirai Island. You can continue to govern them, but in times of war, you answer to me. You will also allow intermarriage between your Yokai and my citizens, provided both parties consent."

Inukimi offered a bitter, elegant smile. "Do I have a choice? If I refuse, you will simply slaughter my army and take my people anyway."

"Correct. My decisions are absolute."

Inukimi closed her eyes. She had seen Kazuha's strength. She felt Su Han's terrifying presence. Resisting was suicide.

"I will submit," Inukimi said, opening her eyes. "But I have one condition."

"Name it. Wealth? Lifespan?"

"Neither," Inukimi said. "I want to become your concubine."

Su Han choked on his tea.

"Excuse me?"

He looked at the stunning Yokai Empress. She was a regal, ice-cold beauty. But offering herself so casually? Was she planning to give Sesshomaru a stepdad?

"I know it sounds sudden," Inukimi said calmly. "But I am an Empress handing over my entire nation. I need a guarantee of safety. In demonic society, words and treaties mean nothing. Blood and marriage are the only absolute bonds. If I am your woman, my people will feel safe, and I will have the authority to manage the transition smoothly."

She was pragmatic to the core. This wasn't romance; this was politics.

"You don't need to go that far," Su Han offered. "I can have the Geo Archon draft a binding Contract. It is absolute."

"I prefer the traditional method," Inukimi insisted. She glanced at Baiwen, who was standing nearby, and hesitated.

Su Han gestured for Baiwen to leave.

Once they were alone, Inukimi's regal mask slipped slightly, revealing a deep, ancient weariness.

"I am just a woman looking for peace," she said softly. "I do not care about power anymore. I just want to ensure my clan survives the Age of Mappo."

She looked out the window. "You know everything, don't you? Then you must know about my marriage to the Great Dog Demon. It was a political alliance. On the night of our wedding, he sat on a cliff all night, thinking of another woman. If it wasn't for my duty to the clan, I would have left the frozen Western Lands long ago."

She looked back at Su Han. "I don't need your love. I just need a title. If you refuse, then kill me now. There is no point in living to watch my race wither away."

Her eyes were dead serious. She had suffered through a loveless political marriage once for the sake of power; she was willing to do it again for the sake of survival.

Su Han sighed. "Alright. I accept your condition. You will have your title. Work out the logistics of the migration with my secretary."

"Thank you, my Lord," Inukimi bowed gracefully, a genuine weight lifting from her shoulders.

As she left the tent to arrange the surrender of 100,000 demons, Su Han's system interface chimed.
