"hah...hah..." Maximilian huffed, sitting at the bottom of a valley between the high mountains. In front of him, a river of clean water was gently flowing.
Maximilian's only functional eye was staring at the sky above, where numerous dragons were rushing towards Valcyrian.
These dragons had been stationed at the border of the Riftlands. After sensing that terrifying presence from Valcyrian, they were rushing back to check what exactly had occurred in the empire that ruled over Vyoman.
Maximilian slowly slid down, the rock wall of the mountain behind him turning crimson with his blood.
Thanks to the slight inward arc in the wall, he couldn't be seen from the sky. He had transformed back into his humanoid form to conceal his Soulforce pressure.
"I...I need to recover before moving out," Maximilian muttered, his lips trembling from the pain surging through his body.
