After thinking for a moment, I realised that what I had just said might have caused a misunderstanding on the other side.
"I-I mean, I want you to come on a trip with me," I blurted out, trying to clear the misunderstanding.
"Oy, little shit, are you asking our manager out on a date?" Aryan's amused voice came through. "You've become quite straightforward."
"Geezer, stop creating misunderstandings!" I snapped. "I want to visit the ancient city of Hastinapur in Meerut. It's a 150 km trip one way, so I thought of asking Jasmine since she enjoys driving."
