Chapter 84 - Chapter 84: Clearing the Fog! Calm Before the Trouble Arrives!

"Yes!"

Genar replied solemnly, "Understood, sir. Please rest assured—I know exactly how to handle this."

"Buru—buru—buru…"

Click.

The Den Den Mushi connection cut off. Jeremy stepped forward, his expression stern.

"Sir, are we really preparing to abandon the God Valley waters?"

"Mhm."

Genar nodded. "We're giving up the God Valley region. Up to this point, forcing our way into that sea area has proven impossible. That kid Arthur… in this place he's fighting with strength comparable to an Admiral. No doubt it's because of the power boost from the Britannia."

Jeremy frowned, pondering.

"Sir, in truth, this whole situation is strange. How did the Britannia Isles appear in the first place? Or rather, why did they appear in such a form?"

"Hahaha!"

To Jeremy's surprise, Genar laughed loudly.

"Jeremy, you're still far too young. This sea is full of fantastical forces—cursed swords that can bend the hearts of men, Observation Haki that can peer into one's mind, the rare 'Aura' some individuals possess, gold that can halt aging, and even rumors of millennium dragon bones that allow creatures to live for a thousand years."

"Those…"

"Those are real?"

Even the normally calm and brilliant Jeremy couldn't hide his shock. He had heard these things before—but always as distant legends. Clearly, he never expected them to be true.

"Hahaha!"

Clap! Clap!

Genar patted Jeremy's shoulder proudly.

"You're still too young. Many so-called legends in this world aren't merely legends."

"Enough. Pass down the order—"

"No, wait."

"Have all the fog surrounding the Britannia region cleared away."

"Yes!"

Though shaken, Jeremy was still a tactician. He quickly regained composure and moved to carry out the command.

In truth—

The fog surrounding God Valley had always been a creation of the World Government, a barrier forged to protect the region and safeguard each Celestial Dragon gathering. But now that God Valley had been destroyed—and transformed into the Britannia Sea—

It was only natural…

…that the fog be removed.

Only by exposing Britannia to the world could they ensure that Arthur would inevitably be swarmed with trouble.

Because—

The Rocks Pirates were already disbanded. And even if they weren't, that insane, "survival-of-the-fittest" crew would never tolerate Arthur occupying that territory.

Who did he think he was?!

What gave him the right to seize such a domain?!

Any former member of the Rocks crew would personally come challenge him—or kill him—just to "correct" the insult.

And once the fog cleared, other pirates would see it too.

The New World now was a powder keg. Countless crews were gathering strength, recruiting members. All it would take was a single spark to ignite the entire sea, unleashing a wave of destruction powerful enough to sweep all of the New World—perhaps even the entire world.

This was undeniable.

At this moment, the whole world watched, curious to see how the situation in the New World would unfold.

And exposing Arthur now…

…would make things very entertaining.

---

"Hmm?"

Bullet tilted his head. "Lord Galahad, don't you think the fog around the Britannia Sea seems to be thinning? I swear it's getting lighter every day."

"It's not your imagination," Galahad replied. "The fog is dissipating. Judging by the current pace, it'll be completely gone in three days at most."

"Eh?!"

Bullet froze. If the fog vanished, Britannia's biggest protective barrier would disappear with it.

Clack.

Clack.

At that moment, Arthur walked toward them, explaining,

"It's not strange. The World Government once created God Valley from nothing—naturally, they can modify the fog as well. Bullet, you'd better take things seriously. Trouble will be knocking on our door soon."

Arthur narrowed his eyes. He could perfectly predict the Five Elders' intentions.

The current shape of the New World?

Arthur knew it well.

The Five Elders could not openly attack the New World—not now. And the Navy? They were a mess. Until Kong woke up, chose a new Fleet Admiral, and promoted new Admirals, the Navy would remain in chaos.

For now, they were off the board.

Which was why Arthur understood:

The Government would force his name into the light—just like when his bounty hit 550 million. They would shove him onto a stage he didn't belong to, let the whole sea focus on him.

Wave after wave of pressure would crash down.

And if unlucky, those waves would simply kill him.

"But now…"

"I'm no longer who I used to be."

"Heh…"

A faint, confident smile curved his lips as he gazed into the distance.

"King."

Galahad stepped beside him and whispered,

"You must prepare yourself. Pirates are greedy. Not only pirates—countries, kings… all of them are greedy. Eventually, they will come for this island."

"I know."

Arthur chuckled.

"But Galahad, you've learned quite a lot from all this information, haven't you?"

He thought back to the intelligence he bought from Shakky. She had given him a huge discount—practically robbery in reverse. Arthur didn't even want to talk about how shameless she was.

He originally planned to study the intel himself, but Galahad had taken it upon himself to read everything and even conduct rational analysis.

Galahad shook his head.

"My King, these matters should be left to me."

"I appreciate it."

"There's no need, King. Serving you is my duty."

"Mhm."

Arthur stood atop the towering island, peering past the waterfall toward the thinning fog. He knew clearly—trouble was coming, and before it arrived, he had preparations to make.

"There are still 200 Devil Fruits in storage."

"If I calculate it…"

"As expected—"

"It's still not nearly enough. Once Britannia stabilizes, I must continue collecting Devil Fruits."

"And besides…"

Arthur had a plan—

A bold, outrageous idea.

Whether it would succeed, he wasn't sure.

But he would try. Only then could he know.

---

"Jihahahahaha!"

Shiki burst into wild laughter as he read the intel in his hand.

"Arthur, you brat… you actually took over God Valley? Turned it into Britannia? Interesting! Very interesting!"

"Huh? Big bro Shiki—Arthur actually seized God Valley?!"

The pirates beside him—former members of the Rocks Pirates who later joined Shiki's forces—all stared in disbelief.

"Mhm."

Shiki nodded, amused.

"That kid Arthur seized God Valley. It's a fine location. Although with my Float-Float Fruit, geography means nothing…"

"But still…"

He narrowed his eyes.

Arthur had refused his offer.

So wasn't it only natural for him to "pay the boy a visit"?

If Arthur obeyed, good.

If not?

Then Shiki would simply crush him.

A vicious gleam flashed in his eyes. Shiki was not one for mercy.

"Men! Set sail!!"

"Roooar!!"

Shiki stood, roaring, and the entire crew howled with him. In just a month, the Flying Pirates had ballooned to over a thousand members and three massive ships.

---

"GURARARA!"

Whitebeard chuckled as he examined the same intel.

"Interesting. To think that brat Arthur actually occupied God Valley! And where did he get all those islands?"

"Huh? Because of cooperation with that bastard Shiki?"

Whitebeard frowned deeply.

It didn't make sense. And knowing Shiki's personality, the chance of cooperation was nearly zero.

Arthur had rejected Shiki.

Knowing Shiki, he would be the first to attack Arthur once he got the chance.

"Pops!"

Marco, exhausted from training, staggered over. Thanks to the Phoenix Fruit, he could still move, but he was barely standing.

"This can't be real, right?! Pops, God Valley was just… taken?"

He was confused.

"The World Government is that strong—how could they allow this?"

Understandable.

Marco was only seven years old, but after meeting Bullet and Katakuri, he trained fiercely—Haki, body, combat, medicine—everything. If not for being a Mythical Zoan with ridiculous recovery…

…he would've trained himself to death.

"Gurarara!"

Whitebeard laughed.

"Who knows? Boys—move out! Since Arthur renamed God Valley to Britannia, we're going to take a look for ourselves!"

"Rooaaar!"

The half-dead trainees forced themselves up, roaring from the depths of their souls. In the past month, Whitebeard's crew had grown to nearly a hundred members.

Each one—his son.

---

Boom—rumble—!!

A violent storm consumed a small island.

Kaido stared down at the intel in his hand, eyes widening.

"Big bro Kaido!!"

"Calm down—don't go berserk!!"

His men shouted urgently, but Kaido forced himself to breathe, nodding slowly.

"Don't worry. But look—Arthur actually took God Valley. Damn brat! He's much faster than me!"

Kaido was furious.

Actually, he had been aiming for Wano for a long time.

Its location, its craftsmen, its Sea Prism Stone mines—if weapon factories were established there, the profit would be immense.

"But…"

Kaido narrowed his eyes.

"Kid… what do you think about attacking God Valley?"

Behind him stood a young man—black wings, leather suit, flames dancing around his body.

"Big bro Kaido—"

"We can try."

"If possible—"

"We take God Valley. No… we take the Britannia Sea."

His words were filled with killing intent.

"Good!"

Kaido stood up instantly, grinning savagely.
