Vanessa opened the door to her house and blinked at the man standing there. Not so much at the man but at the luggage beside him.
"What are you doing?"
Elliott Ross gave her a smile and batted his eyelashes at her. "What can I be doing, wifey? I am moving in with you, of course. We are husband and wife in the eyes of the law and lovers in the eyes of the fans. If we do not live together, then there is going to be a lot of talk."
Vanessa stared at him for a long moment before her gaze slowly shifted past him toward the massive truck parked outside her house. Several men were already carrying boxes down.
Her expression froze slightly. Then she looked back at Elliott. "Why do you have an entire truck of movers and packers?"
Elliott looked over his shoulder casually as if he had only just noticed the truck himself. "Of course I am an artist. I need the clothes to maintain my image." He paused before adding very seriously, "And skincare products. Very important."
