While Zhiran was consciously heading towards his room under the watch of Yan Xi's divine sense, Mo Lianhua instead saw someone on her way back.
"Umm? Oh, aunty... I-I am leaving. Something important came up."
Mei Xuan said a little awkwardly as she was spotted red-handed while trying to leave sneakily. Fortunately, Lianhua didn't think of her as a thief.
"Leaving? Didn't you say you were going to stay for a few days?"
Mo Lianhua asked lightly. Since she was a friend of her son, she didn't mind her staying there.
"Yeah, but something urgent came up. So I have to leave. Sorry for the trouble."
