Since Timothy had spent the day yesterday with his family, today it was time to spend this day with Hana.
He was already dressed when she knocked on his suite door at Marina Bay Sands. White polo, sleeves folded neatly, dark jeans, clean sneakers, rare casual Timothy. When he opened the door, Hana blinked for a moment, surprised.
"You actually look… normal today," she said, smiling.
Timothy raised a brow. "Normal?"
"I mean not 'I just closed a $120 billion semiconductor deal' kind of aura," she said, biting back a laugh.
"Well, today I'm not the CEO," he said, stepping out and locking the door behind him. "Today, I'm just Timothy. And you're not my executive assistant."
"Oh?" Hana tilted her head. "What am I then?"
He met her eyes, steady. "A woman I want to spend the day with."
That shut her up for a second.
She looked away, cheeks warming just a bit. "...you could've just said we're hanging out."
"But that's not what this is," Timothy said simply. "Let's go."
