Chapter 60 - Peter Breaks into a Hater's Nest, Cyborg Starts Filming

Anton looked at the young man beside Phil Urich, a strange smile playing on his lips.

"Kid, you took photos of Spider-Man? Let's see them."

At this moment, Eddie spoke up.

The young man stepped forward and took a digital camera out of his backpack, handing it to Eddie.

After opening the camera and flipping through the photos, Eddie was somewhat surprised. He nodded and said, "The photos are very good. Are you selling exclusively to us, or are you also including other media outlets?"

"Only you. I'm a Batman fan, and a Daily Bugle fan too." The young man's face was a little nervous.

"Excellent. I can give you 1000 dollars for a photo. There are six here in total. Phil, take him to get the money."

Eddie smiled, feeling a little more favorably toward the boy, hearing that he was only offering the photos to them, and offered a good price.

"Thank you."

The boy breathed a sigh of relief and, seeing Phil leading him away, couldn't help but ask, "If I take more photos of Spider-Man later, can I come to you?"

"Of course, we'll take as many as you can get, as long as you agree to supply us exclusively. I promise to give you the same price as this time."

Before Eddie could speak, Anton readily agreed.

Then, seeing Anton seemingly ask casually, "By the way, what's your name?"

"Peter, Peter Parker."

The boy left his name before leaving.

Anton smiled slightly.

Spider-Man, as always, went to the Daily Bugle, actively walking into his own black fan's den.

Fate is truly marvelous.

Holding the 6,000 dollars, Peter was extremely excited as he left the Daily Bugle.

This wasn't the first money he had earned in his life, but it was the largest sum he had made, and for him, it was the most useful.

It solved Peter's urgent problem.

He planned to use the money to buy materials and remake his "battle suit."

Honestly, the biggest mockery Cyborg faced during his debut wasn't about his abilities, like only catching petty thieves and robbers. It was the insults directed at his appearance.

A hideous red mask, a loose hoodie printed with a spider design, and sweatpants that had nothing to do with Spider-Man.

If the Daily Bugle hadn't started calling him Spider-Man a few days ago, no one would have thought he was a superhero.

It was necessary to change his outfit to maintain his superhero image.

To ensure secrecy, Peter planned to make his own suit.

So, the problem was money.

A flash of inspiration struck him; he thought of making money by taking photos of himself.

This idea came to him because of Venom's actions that night.

After dealing with Kingpin, Venom, claiming he wanted to get triple the bonus at the end of the month, took a picture of everyone.

Later, this photo was published in the Daily Bugle and spread throughout New York.

This was also Spider-Man's first appearance in the public eye.

As for why this photo was published in the Daily Bugle, Peter Parker didn't even need to think hard to guess that Venom was probably working at the Daily Bugle, or had a direct cooperative relationship with it.

In this respect, the Daily Bugle had an excellent relationship with Venom and Batman, it was practically a hero haven.

This was the biggest reason Peter was so fond of the Daily Bugle.

If he had to mention another reason, being a Batman fan was also a factor.

"Hey, Peter!"

Peter walked out of the building, and a familiar voice suddenly rang in his ears.

He turned his head, revealing a look of surprise.

"Harry!"

He asked happily, "What are you doing here?"

"I came here to talk to someone about some things. I just saw you walk into this building when I was about to leave, so I waited for you at the door."

Harry Osborn explained briefly, skipping over the details of a hundred-million-dollar investment deal he had discussed with Anton, and then smiled, "I went to Oscorp recently and saw Dr. Connors. He praised you for being very smart and wants to find you as an assistant. How about it, are you interested?"

"Dr. Connors?"

Peter's eyes lit up, and he said excitedly, "Of course, I'd love to be Dr. Connors' assistant."

"Anton, you seem pretty interested in that kid just now?"

After Peter left, Eddie looked at Anton, thinking the latter was acting a little strange today.

"Just admiring."

Anton said, "Everyone else can't get a picture of Spider-Man, but he managed to take such good ones. That means he's a capable person."

"Maybe it was just luck," Eddie shook his head.

"There's another possibility: he is Spider-Man!"

Suddenly, Venom spoke in his mind, seemingly unable to watch any longer, and gave a reminder.

"What?!"

Eddie was stunned.

Seeing this, Anton smiled slightly and left the Daily Bugle.

Although he had seen Spider-Man without his mask, he wasn't planning to interfere with Peter's growth.

Every superhero was unique, just like every human being, with their own thoughts.

Of course, Peter's recognition of the Daily Bugle made him happy.

This showed that the Daily Bugle, under his leadership, had gained more recognition.

Getting back to business.

Anton returned to the DC Company downstairs to supervise Browning and the others' work.

The novelization of Man of Steel is already underway.

Heroes including Cyborg, Flash, Wonder Woman, and Shazam, among others, are taking their first, relatively easy steps, thanks to the hard work of the writers.

The corresponding publishing platform, the Daily Bugle's official website's novel section, was completed long ago, just waiting for DC Company to upload the relevant novel content.

Based on everyone's attention and discussion of Batman, the novel section had enough traffic from the start to support its operation.

After all, the second installment of The Dark Knight was currently being serialized hotly on the forum.

In other words, the Daily Bugle's novel forum was profitable right from the start.

This was all thanks to the support of advertisers and the resources the Daily Bugle had accumulated over many years.

Just these two factors were enough to support the initial development of the Daily Bugle's novel forum; DC Company only needed to provide the content.

Ring, ring!

It was Jim calling.

He asked, "Anton, the crew is ready, and the initial funding is basically in place. How soon are you ready to start filming Cyborg?"

"The sooner the better, of course. I'll be in Hollywood tonight," Anton replied, then asked, "How's the filming progress on Batman and Superman?"

"They started filming yesterday. They're still in the early stages, so it's not fast, but I'm still pretty confident. I'm most worried about you, Anton."

Jim sounded a bit helpless.

Although the funds weren't completely secured, there were countless crews who started filming while still raising money.

Moreover, these three movies weren't exactly short on money; they just wanted to spread the funds as much as possible, using the remaining money for other things.

Anton was eager to get his second persona, so after Jim had prepared the crew, he arranged for the staff to get involved early.

The casting, director, and other preparations were all arranged in advance.

Even before Batman's celebration party for breaking 600 million in global box office, after reaching an agreement with Jim, Jim had already begun preparations for the filming of the second Batman movie.

Of course, not long ago, when Anton asked him to push forward three film crews at once, it did indeed shock him.

After working hard on the casting for Man of Steel and Cyborg, Jim even felt that his long-unfulfilled weight loss goals were beginning to show results.

Now that filming was finally starting, his workload was reduced by more than half, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Don't worry, Jim, this time, I won't let you down either."

Anton on the other end of the phone didn't care.

Although he was going to join the crew tomorrow, he, with his filming experience, knew that his job in the crew was just a human machine that shouted "cut."

With so many experienced assistant directors, they weren't just there to watch.

Based on his previous experience, he planned to finish filming this movie in about three months, with a similar process to the last time.

The sooner it was released, the sooner he could reap the rewards.

The rewards here were, of course, not money, but something more important than money: "Cyborg's" fan value.
