Becky POV
My fur dyed red, and my eyes begin to dim.
"You can never be a match for me," she growled, deep and resounding in my head.
I screamed, Where was my wolf guide? Where was everyone when I needed them?
Tonight it was just me and my wolf, and I wasn't going down.
Anita's growl cut through the smoke as she lunged again, but this time I didn't move back.
I moved through her.
Our bodies collided, claws and fangs meeting in a storm of sparks. Her bite grazed my neck, but I twisted, my jaws locking around her shoulder. The sound of bone cracking no one slowed down.
I burst into her, biting deep as her claws stabbed at me, but my teeth dug deeper, metallic taste flooding my mouth.
Her body limp and my fur free from her claws. Her strength faltered. Her giant body hit the ground, causing a loud thud. I towered over her, chest heaving, my golden fur dark with blood.
One more strike and she would never rise again.
My first blood debt right in front of me.
My wolf howled.
