Once the Manager arrived, Assistant Zhang took over the task of discussing affairs with the man. Leah sat at one corner, staring at the rooftop in boredom while she slurped the orange juice in her head.
"How about I give Chairman Xu a call?" brought up the Manager.
Assistant Zhang smiled and stated, "There is no need for that. Ms. Leah's dad has been looking after the business in her place until she was an adult. Now, she is completely capable of handling it. If you look at it, the business never belonged to Chairman Xu in the first place."
"You're putting us under a difficult position. After all, Chairman Xu oversaw this for a long while."
Leah frowned.
She didn't want her father to come over. That would only create a scene, and it would be embarrassing.
"Chairman Xu has a multimillion dollar business to handle. Do you think he is free enough to come here because of this trivial matter?" Assistant Zhang questioned.
