Sianor stood at the center, turning his gaze toward Heinkel.
Heinkel met his eyes without hesitation, his expression unchanged.
Sianor tilted his head slightly, studying him. "You don't look upset."
Heinkel's gaze flicked once toward the spot where Pelion had fallen, then returned to Sianor.
He shook his head. "No. He lost, so he already expected that kind of outcome."
His expression darkened. "But… he was my subordinate. I'll make sure to avenge him."
A faint smile curved Sianor's lips. "Good."
He stepped forward, golden light beginning to gather around him, faint at first but steadily intensifying.
"Then come here," he said. "It's time to finish this once and for all."
Heinkel stepped forward in response. The moment he did, the light around the arena bent subtly, as if reacting to his presence.
