Heinkel stood at the edge of the battlefield, his eyes fixed on the chaos unfolding before him as the demon gate continued to spew forth beast demons.
For the first time, uncertainty crept across his face. He didn't know what to do.
Even his own chimera soldiers, and worse, his generals, had begun to move on their own, unable to resist Haron's control.
The authority of the Beast Demon Lord spread through them like a silent command. It was inevitable.
Heinkel himself had used demonic beasts originating from Haron to create these chimera soldiers.
Now, that decision had come back to haunt him.
They were no longer fully his to command. Still, not everything had slipped from his grasp.
He remained unaffected.
Unlike the others, it had not been created from beasts but from a dragon, something entirely outside the domain of the Beast Demon Lord.
And so, He did not obey Haron.
A moment later, a small black bird fluttered down and landed on Heinkel's shoulder.
