Well, Eleanor's keycard was busted because it had gotten wet in her bathrobe. But hey, at least we still had our pizza. I had no idea a hotel like this would just make pizzas and send them up to the rooms. For free, too, since we were in the penthouse. Hell, why was Minne always stuck in the kitchen back home then? Then again… I'd still rather have homemade food where I knew every ingredient, even if this place was as luxurious as it got.
And seeing Minne in the kitchen cooking had always been weirdly relaxing. The TV would be on, the pan would be sizzling behind me, and she'd just be there… cooking.
"Wow," Eleanor said, nodding as she took her first bite of her new slice. "This is crazy."
I watched her chew. "Yep," I agreed. "Could've used a bit more of that cheddar sauce, though."
