Chapter 145 - The Girl Who Fell from the Sky

"You'll see how amazing I am later. Just keep up with the training, alright? You're the star of tomorrow," Han Yu said with a smile.

"Alright, the fight's over. It's almost noon. Let's go eat," Charles said, glancing at his watch.

"Yes, yes, let's eat!" Qiyu perked up at the mention of food. He usually ate discounted supermarket food at home. He shouldn't have to eat that here, right?

After taking the elevator, as soon as they stepped out, Qiyu and Han Yu both stopped. They looked at each other, and Qiyu said, "Do you have a friend coming?"

"No, I don't know who it is," Han Yu frowned and shook his head.

"What are you two talking about?" Eric asked. The others looked over as well, unsure what Han Yu and Qiyu were discussing.

"A 'guest' is here. Let's go see what's going on."

After saying this, Han Yu's body turned into a phantom and disappeared from sight. Qiyu followed close behind.

...

In the Mutant School's manor, Han Yu and Qiyu emerged one after the other. Looking up, they saw a streak of fire plummeting from the sky at an incredible speed.

"What's that, a missile?" Qiyu asked.

Han Yu's expression was slightly grave as he shook his head. "Doesn't seem like it. It looks like some kind of creature? We need to cushion its speed first, to avoid damaging the ground here!"

With that, the Green Lantern Ring on Han Yu's hand continuously emitted energy. He swung his hands, and countless green beams formed six hexagonal, tortoise shell-shaped shields in mid-air. There were six in total, arranged in a hexagonal pattern.

Each shield was connected by green crystalline lines, forming a massive tortoise shell-shaped shield.

As the shields formed, the "meteor" in the sky crashed down onto them. The impact shattered the shields. Han Yu hadn't anticipated such a powerful impact. By the time he reacted, the "meteor" had already smashed a massive hole into the grass nearby, kicking up a thick cloud of dust.

Han Yu and Qiyu exchanged glances, and they immediately ran over to check. Qiyu followed with a slap towards the hole, the palm wind dispersing most of the dust.

Seeing what appeared before them, Han Yu and Qiyu were both visibly shocked.

"Is that… a dragon?"

The thing before them was a creature. More precisely, it was a dragon. The dragon's scales were dark green, and it was probably over a hundred meters long. Its appearance resembled the dragons of the Western world.

Han Yu was seeing a real dragon for the first time. He had to admit, it was even more shocking than the ones he'd seen in movies and TV shows. Even Qiyu, standing beside him, looked surprised.

"A dragon actually fell from the sky, how amazing! This is the first time I've ever seen one," Qiyu said.

"Me too. It's huge, it's terrifying, but it seems to be dying," Han Yu said.

The giant dragon's eyes were drooping, and it looked like it was about to give up.

"Hey, who are you? Are you here to steal my food?"

While the two were discussing the dragon, a clear and ethereal voice echoed from within the dragon's lair. It startled them so badly that their scalps tingled, and they instantly assumed battle stances. Hearing a human voice coming from the dragon's lair was still terrifying, okay?

Hyōrinmaru, wreathed in white mist, appeared in Han Yu's hand. Green Lantern energy also coated the blade, enhancing its sharpness and durability.

Qiyu, on the other hand, raised his fists, adopting a seemingly ordinary fighting stance. However, his face was utterly serious; this was his "Serious Series" of punches.

Normally, a casual punch from Qiyu could defeat many monsters. Once he unleashed the "Serious Series", it was even less likely that anyone could beat him, though this setting might not be effective in the Marvel world.

A girl walked out of the pit. If she hadn't come out on her own, Han Yu and the other man might not have noticed her. Compared to the giant dragon, this girl was simply too petite.

She was probably not even as big as the dragon's fingernail. Han Yu stared at the girl's appearance and clothing, mesmerized.

Qiyu looked at the dazed Han Yu. Seeing that he wasn't speaking, he spoke to the girl, asking, "What do you mean, food? Is this giant dragon your food?"

The girl looked to be around seventeen or eighteen years old, about one meter seventy centimeters tall. Her long, slender, and fair legs were very eye-catching. She also wore a hat similar to a top hat, with two folds on either side.

The clothes she wore were primarily purple. A thin, mask-like covering obscured her cheeks, and a pair of large, lively eyes blinked at Han Yu and the other man.

The purple-clad girl blinked, saying, "That's right! I've been chasing it for ages. That big guy sure can run. With all those muscles, it must taste good."

With that, the purple-clad girl stood beside the dragon pit. She opened her rosy little mouth, and the giant dragon, which was like a small mountain, turned into a streak of light and disappeared into her mouth.

The process lasted a full thirty seconds. The dragon in the pit vanished completely. Only then did the purple-clad girl pat her flat stomach, looking completely satisfied. Judging by her flat stomach, no one would have guessed she'd just eaten a mountain-high dragon.

"Hey, hey, snap out of it! You've been staring off into space for so long," Qiyu gently poked Han Yu, saying.

Han Yu finally came to his senses. His surprise wasn't entirely due to the girl's figure and appearance; it was more about the dragon in the pit and the girl's clothing.

Han Yu knew the giant dragon in the pit. It was called the "Extraordinary Dragon." It was an alien creature. In Han Yu's memory, it should appear in the Marvel world, summoned and modified by a villain named "Mandarin." It would eventually become an iron flying dragon with terrifying destructive power.

If it were in Qiyu's world, it would be at least a Dragon-level threat.

And now, it had been eaten by a girl. Seeing this scene would make anyone feel incredulous.

But Han Yu didn't find it strange. He also knew the girl's identity, simply because the clothes she wore were so representative.

Especially the purple hat on her head with two folded corners. It made a name pop into Han Yu's mind: Galactus!

This was one of the Cosmic Quintet, a being that lived by devouring planets. Her birth name was Galactus, but most people called her "Galactus".

In Han Yu's previous life's memories, Galactus was often jokingly referred to as a "power level unit" by many internet users because she was always getting killed in the comics. The internet users would often say, "The invincible Uncle Galactus has died again!"
