After Dugu Yan consumed the Bezoar Detoxification Pill, the last remnants of poison that had plagued her for years were finally purged from her body. Without the constant toxic obstruction, her Spirit evolved, and her innate talent blossomed. It was clear that her future cultivation speed would increase dramatically. While her body was now free of toxins, she could still wield poison as a weapon; the two were not mutually exclusive. However, she knew that as her opponents grew stronger, her poisons would become less effective unless she could find more potent concoctions—a question only her grandfather could answer.
"Ye Yin," Dugu Yan began, looking up at him with eyes that shimmered like autumn pools. "I truly don't know how to thank you."
Though it had been less than a day, she felt as if her entire body and soul now belonged to him. As for Yu Tianheng, it was best if he just stayed away.
"I just don't know how to handle all of this," she confessed, her voice barely a whisper. "Our... relationship... it's all so unclear. And then there's Yu Tianheng and me... you know how it is. Besides, my grandfather probably wouldn't agree to me being with you. After all, you already have three others." As she spoke, the light in her eyes began to dim. "Sigh..."
"Your grandfather has already agreed," Ye Yin stated calmly.
Dugu Yan froze, blinking in confusion. "My... grandfather has already agreed?" She recognized each word he said, but when put together, the sentence made no sense. "My grandfather agreed? He hasn't even fully accepted Yu Tianheng, and you're saying he agreed to you?"
Ye Yin simply nodded. "Tell me, who do you think is better? Me or Yu Tianheng?"
"You're better, of course!" she answered without hesitation.
"Well, isn't that the end of it?" he said with a confident smile. "I'm better than Yu Tianheng, so is there really any problem with your grandfather agreeing to me?"
For a moment, Dugu Yan was speechless. His logic was so simple, yet she couldn't find a flaw in it. She could only nod silently.
"So, the only problem left is for you to go and tell Yu Tianheng that you're breaking up with him," Ye Yin continued, simplifying the entire situation. "Once that's done, the problem is solved. It's a very simple issue, so why are you making it so complicated?"
Dugu Yan nodded again, a dazed look on her face. He made it all sound so easy.
"But," Ye Yin added, a playful glint in his eye, "before you go tell him, there's one more thing you need to do."
"What thing?" she asked, a little confused.
Ye Yin just chuckled, his expression telling her everything she needed to know.
By the lake at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Dugu Bo leaned against a tree, having watched the sun set and then rise again. Absorbing the herbs was taking far too long. It wasn't until noon the next day that Ye Yin and Dugu Yan finally walked into his line of sight, looking much closer than before.
Dugu Bo sighed with a mix of relief and impatience. "You two are finally out. Absorbing those herbs took quite a while."
Ye Yin nodded in agreement. "Grandpa, the time it took was indeed a bit long. After all, we ate quite a bit."
At first, Dugu Bo didn't notice anything wrong and just nodded along. Then, the word registered, and his head snapped towards Ye Yin. "What did you just call this old man?"
"Grandpa," Ye Yin repeated calmly. "That's right. Since Yan Yan and I are together now, there's no problem with me calling you that." He casually wrapped his arm around Dugu Yan's slender waist. Blushing, she hid her face behind his shoulder, playfully pounding his chest with her small fists.
This time, Dugu Bo was truly stunned. He had hoped things would progress quickly, but he never imagined they would be this quick!

"It seems Dugu Bo has a lot of resentment towards me," Ye Yin mused to himself with a shake of his head. "But what's the point? Didn't everything go exactly as he planned? It's really strange." Using his upgraded Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, he quickly made his way back to Shrek Academy.
When Flender saw Ye Yin, he immediately breathed a sigh of relief and rushed forward to check on him. "That old poisoner actually let you come back? He didn't hurt you, did he?"
"No," Ye Yin said with a relaxed smile. "In fact, I should call Senior Dugu Bo 'Grandpa' now. How could he hurt me?"
Flender was stunned into silence. What on earth had happened to Ye Yin in just a few days? Calling the Poison Douluo 'Grandpa'? That was the backing of a genuine Titled Douluo. Realizing it was better not to ask, he simply said, "It's good that you're fine."
"By the way, where did everyone else go?" Ye Yin asked, looking around. "I haven't seen anyone."
"You mean the kids?" Flender replied. "They're all cultivating in the simulated environment. You know it helps increase their cultivation speed."
"I have some things to discuss with Xiao Wu, Zhuqing, and Rongrong," Ye Yin said.
"Go ahead," Flender told him. "Xiao Wu and Zhuqing are in the forest area, and Rongrong is in the jewelry area. You should be able to find them easily."
Soon, Ye Yin found the three girls.
"Yin Ge!" they all cried out in unison. "You're finally back!" They rushed forward and hugged him tightly.
"You scared us to death!" Ning Rongrong exclaimed. "We thought you weren't coming back!"
Ye Yin comforted each of them with a hug and a smile. "Don't worry, I'm fine. Not only am I fine, but Dugu Bo will have to call me his grandson-in-law from now on."
Upon hearing this, the happy expressions on the three girls' faces vanished, replaced instantly with glares filled with resentment.
