With a confident flourish, he began to take out one incredible herb after another. The first was the Looking-Through Autumn Water Dew. The plant was a flawless emerald green, with three snow-white leaves at its center that held a few drops of liquid, shimmering like dew in the early morning sun.
"This is called the Looking-Through Autumn Water Dew," he explained. "Consuming it allows one to cultivate Fiery Golden Eyes, capable of seeing through all sorts of rare treasures and illusions. Since I've already taught you all the upgraded Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record, this can greatly enhance your Purple Demon Eye as well. It's something everyone can benefit from."
Xiao Wu frowned. "Yin Ge, why do you give everyone else herbs that make them stronger, but only take this auxiliary one for yourself? I don't understand these Immortal Herbs, but yours doesn't seem like the best one, right?"
A slight smile touched Ye Yin's lips. "Naturally, it's not the best. That's why there are others." He had no intention of being modest. As long as the herbs didn't conflict, the more one consumed, the better. Who would ever complain about having too much strength?

"These three will greatly increase my spirit power and help form a soul core," he told them. "I've already mastered extreme fire and ice. Consuming the Earth Dragon Golden Melon might even allow me to master the power of the Earth Dragon. Its chaotic bloodline will also work well with the Mixed Yuan Qi." He looked directly at Xiao Wu. "I'll be consuming all four of these. Do you still think I'm treating myself poorly now?"
Xiao Wu fell silent instantly, feeling a bit foolish. She realized her question was an insult to his character. "Then I'm relieved," she said softly, before turning her full attention to the Yearning Heartbroken Red and beginning to absorb its medicinal effects.
Ye Yin moved over to a bed that had been specially prepared for him in the dorm. He started with the Looking-Through Autumn Water Dew, tilting it slightly so the few drops of transparent liquid dripped into his mouth. The moment the last drop left the leaves, the entire herb withered into dust, scattering from his hand. He immediately sat cross-legged and began to cultivate.
As all four of them entered a meditative state, the room filled with an otherworldly energy, and each of them began to change. Ning Rongrong's transformation was the most magnificent. Her Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda floated quietly before her, shining with nine-colored halos and surrounded by a thick golden light from the Qilol Tulip. Within the golden light, a mass of white mist swirled, creating a beautiful Tyndall effect.
After consuming her herbs, Zhu Zhuqing's entire body began to exude a faint jade color. Her hands rested on her ample bosom, rising and falling with each deep breath. A continuous cracking sound came from within her body as the Marvelous Chrysanthemum reformed her bones. Her three purple spirit rings pulsed in and out of existence around her.
Xiao Wu's absorption of the Yearning Heartbroken Red was comparatively calm. She was perfectly still, but her entire being was suffused with a deep red glow that had a jade-like luster.
A faint, reddish-golden light enveloped Ye Yin's head. The light formed into fine threads that continuously gathered towards his eyes, constantly enhancing his mental force.
A few hours later, a brilliant golden light burst forth from Ye Yin's eyes, momentarily brightening the entire room. His mental force had increased tremendously. His gaze fell upon Xiao Wu, but even with his enhanced vision, he still couldn't see through her true form. After consuming so many spiritual fruits, it was as if she was no longer a hundred-thousand-year Spirit Beast, but truly and completely human.
The three girls were still deep in their meditation. Ye Yin looked at the other three Immortal Herbs, and a crazy thought arose in his mind: to consume them all at once. The herbs had complementary effects, and his body had been tempered by the Ice and Fire Forged Golden Body. His physique was already at the level of a fifty-second-rank Spirit King, strong enough to absorb a ten-thousand-year spirit ring. Still, the risk was immense.
