A heavy silence descended upon the audience. Everyone was left completely petrified, suffocated by the terrifying spectacle that had defied human imagination. Even the laughter had vanished, replaced by a boundless sense of terror and intense stomach cramps.
In the VIP section, Emperor Xue Ye's teacup clattered to the ground and shattered into pieces. His face was ashen, and his body trembled slightly, as if he might faint from pure rage at any second. Ning Fengzhi had completely closed his eyes, his lips twitching as if he were enduring immense pain. Xue Qinghe could no longer hold back; she abruptly lowered her head, her shoulders shaking violently as she desperately tried to suppress the urge to burst out laughing.
Down on the Spirit Arena, the poor referee had long since suffered a complete mental breakdown from the shocking scene and the horrific biological stench. His face was as pale as paper, and he had already vomited until only sour bile was left churning in his stomach. His breaking point came when he saw the sharp-faced member of Shenfeng Academy, still farting continuously, break free from the entanglement of his teammates. The student lunged at him with bloodshot eyes, drool dripping from his mouth, radiating a crazed aura of mutual destruction as he attempted to pry the referee's mouth open.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!"
The referee let out the most piercing shriek of his life. His spirit power erupted as he scrambled, almost on all fours, to get away from the stage. He collapsed at the edge, gasping for breath, pointing a trembling finger back at the arena as he roared incoherently.
"Disqualified! You're all disqualified! Ugh—! Shenfeng Academy has lost all combat capability and is no longer qualified to compete! Sh… Shrek Academy wins! Quick! Clear the arena! Ugh—!!!"
The judgment sounded like heavenly music to some, yet like a death knell to others. Below the stage, the team leader of Shenfeng Academy finally succumbed to the devastating blow. His eyes rolled back, foam bubbled from his mouth, and he fainted completely.
Above the stage, the six Shenfeng members, who were still wildly trying to share their "joy," froze abruptly upon hearing the verdict. But the terrifying curse within their bodies had not yet disappeared. Feng Xiaotian's face was a mess of tears and snot, his expression twisted into a mask of pure agony. He looked at Liu Feng, who was nearly unconscious from the stench beneath him, then at his other frenzied teammates. His vision went black. With a heart full of grief, a body covered in stench, and a psychological scar that would linger for decades, he plummeted from the air.
Over on the Shrek Academy side, Xiao Wu had long since pulled Zhuqing and Rongrong to the farthest edge of the platform. The three girls covered their noses, their faces pale with disgust and lingering fear. Ma Hongjun's mouth was open wide enough to fit a fist.
"Oh my goodness…" he muttered in awe. "So the ultimate attack of the wind element… is… is this smell?"
This unprecedented, foul-smelling victory, which had crushed the opponent's dignity along with their soul, was destined to become a long-lingering "haze" that would shroud the rest of the tournament, Shenfeng Academy, and even the entire Spirit Master world.
In the audience, an unknown person was the first to let out a retching sound. It was like a lit fuse. In an instant, a chain reaction was triggered, and the entire Great Spirit Arena turned into an ocean of vomit.
"Ugh!"
"Quick! Medical team! We need the medical team!"
"Water! We need lots of water! Flush the area! Ugh!"
The area below the stage had already erupted into chaos. The fainted team leader of Shenfeng Academy was carried away on a stretcher, while the referee lay limp on the ground, dry-heaving incessantly. The organizing committee urgently dispatched a large number of water-attribute Spirit Masters to desperately flush the stage and the surrounding area, attempting to dispel the soul-shaking odor. The audience section was even more horrific, a mess of retching, cursing, and panicked people fleeing for fresh air.
In the Blazing Fire Academy's rest area, Huo Wushuang and Huo Wu's expressions were extremely grim. They were acquainted with Feng Xiaotian, and though they were rivals, seeing the esteemed captain fall to such a state brought a chill to their hearts. It was the sorrow of a rabbit mourning a fox, mixed with an uncontrollable physiological disgust.
"Brother… Feng Xiaotian, he's… he's just too miserable…" Huo Wu said, her pretty face pale as she suppressed her discomfort. She watched as Feng Xiaotian, wrapped in thick disinfectant gauze, was urgently carried away by medical Spirit Masters.
"Hmph. He was outmatched, but to be beaten by such… despicable tactics!" Huo Wushuang's brows were tightly furrowed, his voice filled with anger and apprehension toward Shrek's bizarre Spirit Ability. "What exactly is Ye Yin's Spirit? A curse? I've never heard of anything like it!"
"Whatever it is, I, Huo Wu, will remember this humiliation!" Flames of fury ignited in Huo Wu's eyes. Her pride made her develop a strong hostility towards Shrek. The siblings exchanged a glance and decided to go check on Feng Xiaotian's condition, both as a show of solidarity between the elemental academies and because they knew of his feelings for Huo Wu.
The medical area was temporarily cordoned off, the air thick with the smell of disinfectant. Yet, faintly, a strange scent still seemed to linger. Feng Xiaotian lay on a stretcher, his face as pale as paper and his eyes tightly closed. He exuded an aura of complete despair, as if he had nothing left to live for.
The medical Spirit Masters examining him had their brows furrowed. "There are no major physical injuries, mainly spirit power exhaustion and extreme… uh… mental stimulation. There also seems to be some kind of negative status lingering that's difficult to dispel."
Just then, Feng Xiaotian twitched on the stretcher. His tightly closed eyes snapped open, but they were now bloodshot, their gaze murky, distorted, and filled with a pathological fervor.
"Huo Wu… Huo Wu…" he uttered in a hoarse, dreamlike voice.
Huo Wushuang and Huo Wu's hearts tightened, and they stepped closer. "Feng Xiaotian? How are you feeling?" Huo Wushuang asked in a deep voice.
Feng Xiaotian didn't answer. His fervent gaze was fixed on Huo Wu's beautiful, astonished face. An irresistible, powerful impulse, originating from the depths of his soul, instantly consumed all reason. Let her smell it! Quick, let her smell it! Let her know my unique scent! Prove it to her! Let her feel my power!
"Huo… Huo Wu!!" Feng Xiaotian suddenly sprang up from the stretcher, moving with a speed that defied his injured state. He lunged towards Huo Wu!
"Careful!" Huo Wushuang cried out, subconsciously moving to block him.
Huo Wu was completely caught off guard, her face losing all color, terrified by Feng Xiaotian's eerie gaze and sudden movement. "What are you doing?! Feng Xiaotian, are you crazy?!" she shrieked, instinctively retreating.
But it was too late. Feng Xiaotian's strength was immense, like a final burst of energy. He broke through Huo Wushuang's hasty interception and lunged at Huo Wu like a madman. Just as he was about to embrace her…
Pfft!!!!
