Chapter 179 - 179: Ye Yin and Zhu Zhuqing's Soul Fusion Technique

A strange, blurry figure flickered in and out of view within the red mist, possessing both Xie Yue's resolute outline and Hu Liena's graceful curves. Its aura was so powerful it was suffocating. This was the Golden Generation's trump card: a Martial Soul Fusion Skill unleashed by two Spirit Kings, with power comparable to a high-level Spirit Saint. Within this red mist domain, they were invincible.

The moment the mist enveloped the stage, the expressions of the Shrek Academy members changed drastically. Dai Mubai felt a heavy pressure descend upon him, and his spirit power circulation became sluggish. His vision and senses were compressed to the extreme, making it impossible to even see his own companions.

"Be careful!" he roared, instinctively stepping in front of the others.

Ma Hongjun felt as if he had fallen into a swamp; his scorching Phoenix flames dimmed to a faint glow.

"Fatty! Above you!" Oscar suddenly shrieked.

A blood-red blade of light, moving at an incredible speed, slashed silently out of the mist like a ghost. Its target was Ma Hongjun, who was positioned further back. Blood splattered. Ma Hongjun let out a short, sharp cry before his plump body was sent flying like a broken sack, a deep, bone-visible wound gushing blood from his chest. He crashed heavily against the protective barrier and immediately fell unconscious.

"Fatty!" Dai Mubai's eyes turned bloodshot.

Within the red mist, the enchanting figure flickered like a shadow. A cold voice filled with mockery echoed through the fog. "First one."

Immediately after, the fierce blade flared again, this time targeting Oscar as he was making his sausages.

"Little Ao! Dodge!" Ning Rongrong cried out as the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda shone brightly, a speed boost instantly landing on Oscar. He tumbled awkwardly, narrowly avoiding a fatal blow, but his shoulder was still grazed by the blade's energy, and blood began to pour from the wound.

The red mist swirled, and the attacks continued, relentless and unpredictable. Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu stood back-to-back, struggling to fend off assaults coming from all directions. But in this domain that weakened their perception, their movements were always half a beat too slow, and new wounds constantly appeared on their bodies. Ning Rongrong's support light seemed exceptionally faint in the thick, red fog.

Ye Yin stood in the center of the formation, his brow slightly furrowed. His Good and Evil Pearl floated before him, emitting a soft light that attempted to push back the mist, but the red fog seemed alive, constantly encroaching on the light. For the first time, his Curse ability was useless. He couldn't lock onto a target. The enchanting figure in the mist moved as if it were teleporting, its aura elusive and impossible to capture.

"Yin Ge! What do we do?!" Dai Mubai roared, blocking a blade of light that was aimed at Xiao Wu. His arm went numb from the impact.

On the high platform, Bibi Dong looked down at Shrek Academy, now completely enveloped by the mist and at an absolute disadvantage. Her expression was as calm and unperturbed as ever. Chrysanthemum Douluo's lips curled into a cold sneer. In the audience, the Spirit Masters supporting Spirit Hall erupted in thunderous cheers.

"Charming Fox is invincible!"

"Shrek Academy is finished!"

"King of Curses? In the face of absolute strength, he's just a joke!"

Within the mist, the remaining members of Shrek were covered in wounds, their auras chaotic. The enchanting figure condensed again. This time, its target was Ning Rongrong as she was healing Oscar.

"It's over! First, I'll disable your support!"

The blood-red moon blade, carrying a sharpness that could tear through anything, slashed silently towards the back of Ning Rongrong's heart. Its speed was incredible, and its angle was perfect. Dai Mubai and Xiao Wu wanted to rescue her, but they were pinned down by other attacks. A resolute glint flashed in Zhu Zhuqing's eyes; she wanted to use her Hell Rush Stab to block the attack, but the distance was too great.

Just as the blow was about to land, an unprecedented brilliance burst forth from Ye Yin's eyes. He abruptly looked at Zhu Zhuqing, and she, as if sensing his intent, instantly turned her head. Their gazes met. No words were exchanged, yet in that instant, they understood each other completely. It was a mutual attraction, a deep resonance that originated from their very spirits—a potential he had discovered long ago, a unique bond they shared.

Ye Yin's Good and Evil Pearl suddenly burst forth with a new, unprecedented light. It was no longer a gentle white or a deep black, but a chaotic, primordial, grayish mist that seemed capable of devouring everything. At the same time, the Hell Civet phantom behind Zhu Zhuqing let out a long, clear cry. A deep, dark light surged from her, and the mysterious dark-gold halo in her spirit's eyes spread to envelop her entire body, making her seem as if she were made of pure shadow.

Like two merging lights, Ye Yin and Zhu Zhuqing's figures instantly drew close. He opened his arms, and without the slightest hesitation, she flew into his embrace. Their bodies pressed tightly together as Ye Yin's chaotic gray mist and Zhu Zhuqing's deep, dark light furiously intertwined and merged into one.

An aura of terror, far deeper and more heart-stopping than that of the Charming Fox, erupted from the center of their fusion, like a sleeping primordial beast awakening.

Buzz!

An invisible shockwave instantly spread out. The dense red mist that had enveloped the entire arena rolled, dissolved, and retreated violently, like snow meeting the scorching sun. A clear view of the stage was revealed.

Everyone was stunned. Ye Yin and Zhu Zhuqing's figures had vanished. In their place was a mysterious entity suspended in mid-air. It was entirely shrouded in a flowing, dark gray mist, with deep, ethereal blue halos flickering at its edges. Its form was blurry, at times resembling the phantom of a majestic judge, and at other times, the outline of a colossal beast lurking in endless shadows.

Most striking were its eyes. The left eye was a chaotic vortex that seemed capable of devouring souls, while the right eye was a cold, dark-gold vertical pupil that emitted a terrifying pressure, as if it could pierce through all falsehoods and judge the sins of the world. A sense of fear that originated from the depths of the soul swept across the entire plaza. Even the Titled Douluos on the high platform—Bibi Dong, Yue Guan, and Gui Mei—instantly grew solemn. This aura transcended that of a Spirit Saint, even touching the threshold of a Spirit Douluo.

The Charming Fox was revealed the moment the red mist receded. Its blurry face was filled with extreme shock and disbelief.

"A Martial Soul Fusion Skill?! You… how is this possible?!" Xie Yue's voice was distorted with horror. He had never imagined that anyone from Shrek Academy could unleash a fusion skill so powerful that its aura subtly suppressed his own.

The dark gray figure slowly lowered its head. Its gaze, interwoven with chaos and dark-gold light, coldly locked onto the Charming Fox. A voice, seemingly composed of countless overlapping sounds and filled with an endless, ethereal majesty, resounded throughout the arena.

"Night Judgment!"
