Chapter 31 - SOMETHING ODD

The moment they stepped into the VIP room, Dylan immediately mixed a glass of whiskey and cola for Flynn.

As soon as Flynn took a sip, he coughed hard, his face twisting in discomfort from the strong burn of the alcohol. Dylan couldn't help but laugh at the sight.

"What? Too strong for you?" Dylan teased, then grabbed Flynn's glass and took a quick taste through the same straw to check.

Dylan's face scrunched up slightly after taking a sip. "Yeah, it's a bit strong," he admitted. "I'll just add more cola and ice. Let it chill for a bit before you drink it again." Flynn nodded in agreement.

Jake and Cholo exchanged looks, both raising their brows in disbelief. Dylan never mixed drinks for anyone—ever—and he definitely never drank from someone else's glass or straw. He had this thing about not sharing anything that had someone else's saliva on it.

And yet, here he was, casually sipping from Flynn's drink like it was nothing.

"Bro, we'll take care of Flynn," Jake said, clapping Dylan on the shoulder. "Go check on the others. They've been waiting for you forever."

Jake and Cholo slid onto the seat beside Flynn to interrogate him.

"Hey, Flynn," Cholo started, leaning closer with a teasing grin. "Does Dylan always do that?"

Flynn frowned, confused. "Do what?"

Jake chuckled. "Man, Dylan never does that kind of thing for anyone. Especially not sharing a drink or straw. He's a total germ freak. The only person he's ever done that for is Stephanie."

"Yeah," Cholo added, shaking his head. "We haven't hung out with him for a month, and it looks like something's definitely changed."

"Oh, that?" Flynn said with a small laugh. "He seems pretty normal to me. Since the school started, he hasn't stopped bothering me. We argue a lot, actually. He's always meddling in my business as well, can't seem to leave me alone."

Jake and Cholo exchanged a stunned look, unsure if Flynn was joking or serious.

"Ehh?! Dylan?" Cholo blurted out.

Jake shook his head in disbelief. "Man, that doesn't sound like him at all. Dylan's the type who doesn't care about anyone else—always in his own bubble. We practically had to drag him out just to make him socialize."

Flynn glanced over at Dylan, who was laughing with a few people across the room, his expression thoughtful. Then, completely out of nowhere, he asked, "So... do you guys, like, jerk off together or something?"

Jake and Cholo both nearly spat out their drinks. "What the hell, Flynn?" Jake choked out, eyes wide.

"Hahaha! You're hilarious, man!" Cholo laughed so hard his shoulders shook. "Wait, why? Did you two do it together or something?"

Flynn blinked innocently. "No. But he told me you guys used to do it a lot together."

Cholo turned to Jake, and in an instant, Jake understood what Cholo meant.

"Watch this," Jake muttered, standing up with a smirk.

Being the most flirty one in their group, Jake decided to prove something. He walked over to Dylan, who was sitting by the couch, and casually slid his hand onto Dylan's thigh.

Within seconds, Dylan swatted his hand away and shot him a sharp glare that could kill.

Jake immediately jumped back and returned to the group, grinning. "See that, Flynn? Dylan hates being touched—especially by guys," Cholo said, laughing.

"Stephanie's the only one who can get away with that," Jake added with a grin. "If we ever tried what you're suggesting, we'd probably end up dead."

Flynn fell silent, his thoughts churning. Something about what they said didn't match the Dylan he'd come to know.

He glanced toward Dylan again. He was surrounded by a few women, smiling politely as they talked. For some reason, the sight made Flynn's chest tighten with irritation.

Jake, noticing his expression, leaned closer. "Yeah... Dylan's always been popular with girls. Wherever we go, they just flock to him. But here's the thing—he never flirts back."

Cholo nodded. "Out of all the girls Dylan's gone out with, Stephanie's the only one who became his actual girlfriend. You've met her, right?"

"Yeah," Flynn said quietly. "Once."

"She's gorgeous," Cholo said with a laugh. "But man, she's got a temper. Only Dylan can handle her—and honestly, she's the only one he listens to. That's why they're perfect for each other."

Their drinking session lasted well into the early hours, finally ending around 3 a.m. Flynn and Dylan were the first to leave, heading back to Flynn's place.

Once inside the room, Dylan noticed something odd. Flynn was wrapped up in the blanket like a cocoon, as if protecting himself from the world.

"Hey... why are you hiding like that?" Dylan asked, tilting his head.

Flynn just stayed still, clutching the blanket tighter. Dylan, determined to get him to share, tugged at the layers. "Come on, share it."

Flynn finally peeked up at Dylan, his expression unreadable. "I asked Jake and Cholo earlier... about, you know, jerking off together. And they said... it doesn't happen."

Dylan raised an eyebrow, tilting his head. "Wait... why did you even ask them that? Were you curious if we actually do that?"

Flynn swallowed and tightened the blanket around himself.

"Why don't we just try it? We're both guys," Dylan said, a teasing grin on his face.

Flynn's eyes widened slightly. "You're... such a perv," he muttered, wrapping himself even tighter in the blanket, hiding from Dylan's mischievous grin.

Dylan, not giving up, tried harder to peel it away. He reached in, tugging again, determined to coax Flynn out of his cocoon.

Suddenly, Flynn lifted his leg and kicked, and Dylan tumbled backward, landing on the floor with a thud.

Flynn couldn't help it—he burst out laughing. "Serves you right!"

After saying that, Flynn settled down properly to sleep.

Dylan, meanwhile, got up from the floor and returned to lie down beside him. He didn't bother Flynn again and quickly fell asleep.

The next morning, Flynn woke up in shock. Dylan had pulled the blanket over so they were sharing it, and even more startling—Flynn realized he was lying against Dylan's arm, with Dylan's hand resting on his crotch.

Flynn immediately moved away, nearly slapping Dylan in surprise, but seeing him asleep so peacefully, he let it slide.

As Flynn got up, Dylan stirred at the movement.

"What's going through your head? What if my dad walked in and saw us like this?" Flynn asked irritably.

"Why? Uncle's not coming in here anyway," Dylan replied casually.

Flynn just rolled his eyes and headed straight to the bathroom to take a shower, leaving Dylan in the room, quietly chuckling at the morning's events.
