"Hmmm..." I murmur as I read a book lying in bed, slowly turning the pages. Even though I'm having a little trouble understanding the content, I glance out the window and see it's already night.
I've been waiting for hours, but my wait finally ends when I hear the sound of the door opening. I see Esther arriving. She looks like she just got back, since her hair is still slightly damp, meaning she just showered.
"Oh! Esther!! You're here!! I was waiting!" I say with a silly smile.
"What's this..." Esther glances at the empty wine bottle on the side table.
"Evelyn, did you drink?"
"O-Only a little! And I'm not drunk!!"
"You're naked."
"I-It was hot."
"Since when do you strip just because it's hot...you know what, never mind. I finished getting rid of that 'gift' and now I came to collect my reward. And I see my reward seems to have already been served up on a platter..." She gives a wicked smile as she approaches.
"I-I'm not drunk, really!!"
