"What do you need, Esther?" I ask, uneasy. What more could she possibly ask for now? Wasn't the extravagant meal she had me make enough?
Honestly, it's not fun at all watching my poor tail writhe when I cut it off. It thrashes around, and when I reconstruct it, it's 'skittish' with me! Staying away from my hands for a while.
"I want to watch something entertaining while I eat, so I want you to use what's in that dresser drawer," she says, pointing to one of the dressers.
'What's in there? No... impossible... did she plan even this?' I look at Esther in utter disbelief. I don't know when she could have put something inside my office.
'Maybe I should stop telling the shadows to stay away from me...' I don't like the feeling of having shadows everywhere watching me, so I generally order them all to keep their distance. That's why they didn't see what Esther did.
"Please stop invading my privacy like this..."
