"...Hmmm." Evelyn moaned without stopping, scratching at the bed, while I gently stroked her tail, helping her. Despite the occasional moan, Evelyn's body had stopped having spasms.
"Your body is adjusting to your tail, Evelyn. Just calm down and stay still." My own tail reacted with some jealousy, dragging against the floor with an irritating sound because I was stroking Evelyn's tail.
'Quiet, you jealous thing! She's my daughter!' My tail whipped the floor in frustration at me as I stared at Evelyn's face. She'd stopped scratching the bed and was drooling from the tonic immobility that comes from reaching the limit.
"Well, Evelyn, you'll be paralyzed for a while, so don't worry." I pressed her tail, holding the tip, bending it into an L shape, then tilting it further until it formed a C, stretching it.
Evelyn wasn't really noticing anything. Because of the tonic immobility, her mind was inert and switched off, but I still talked to her to help her stay calm.
