"Just say you don't want to tell me."
Ellis blurted out without any hesitation, but the young man wasn't unpleased with his behavior. Seeing him still wearing a smile, Ellis turned his gaze to the side, hiding half of his face in his arms as he mumbled in a low voice.
"Aein."
"Speak more clearly, Ellis."
The young man called him by his name. Ellis was aware that this person already knew who he was.
"Aein!"
Ellis shouted in a clear and loud voice; feeling shy afterwards, he submerged his face completely in his arms.
"Aein? What does that mean?"
"You don't need to know."
If the man knew what it meant, what would he think? Ellis was the type to fall for anyone easily; be it a bad or good thing, he didn't know, but even if someone extended a hand to help him up from the ground in passing, he would remember it and keep thinking of that person.
"How can I be sure you put some thought into the name then?"
"I will tell you if you reveal your real name."
