Hotaru rubbed his chest, still sore from Anon's collision; Tomori's was softer. No bias, he swore.
Tomori, anxious, fumbled, "Qiu Anon Rikki Soyo @ &#&…"
Hotaru ruffled her hair. "Don't rush. I saw Anon."
Tomori calmed, face flushed. "Anon and Rikki fought, Anon ran, I chased."
Hotaru nodded. Find Anon, she's unsteady.
"Parfait…" Nika mourned the spilled matcha.
Lennon, the jungler's here, Hotaru thought.
"Lennon…" Tomori exclaimed, surprised Nika showed.
"Not hurt?" Rinko approached with cleaning tools.
Hotaru and Tomori shook heads.
"Good," Rinko smiled. "Go, I'll clean."
"Thanks, Narita Road," Hotaru said. "Tomori, let's go. Anon's outside."
Tomori nodded, hurrying after him.
Rinko paused, bewildered, then saw Nika eyeing the parfait. "Rana, no!"
She pressed Nika's face, stopping her.
Nika struggled, glancing where Hotaru left. "Band over?"
Outside
Anon stopped, panting, hands on knees, sweating. "I didn't run away…" But I did.
No one chased her. Relief mixed with disappointment.
She sighed, bitter, eyes clouded. Ran without bag, guitar. Phone's here.
Hotaru's message asked her location. She recalled bumping him. Apologize later.
Quit? Nika's enough. I can still shine in class. But that'd prove she's a runner.
Lost, she looked around, realizing she'd run blindly.
"Chihaya President?" Classmates approached.
Anon froze, trembling. It's over.
"Long time no see! London on holiday?" they beamed.
"I… that…" Anon stammered, Bocchi-like.
They noticed her Haneoka uniform, surprised. "Haneoka's uniform?"
Life's done. Anon felt suffocated, legs failing.
"President, careful!" they cried.
She closed her eyes, bracing.
No pain. A warm embrace caught her.
Opening her eyes, Hotaru's face appeared, arms steadying her, giving security.
"Good thing I made it," he sighed.
"Chihaya President, you okay?" the classmates worried.
"I'm fine…" Anon mumbled, dazed.
Hotaru helped her stand, sensing her past. He smiled at the classmates, "We meet again."
They lit up, here for him. "Hello! What's your relationship with our President?"
