It was still early, a little after nine in the morning, yet hundreds of rioters were already marching through the streets of Manhattan. They opposed the movement for Humanoid Summoners' rights, and their methods were vicious. They broke into the homes and shops of Humanoid Summoners, destroying property and attacking anyone who resisted. Some movements were peaceful but not this one. Meanwhile, in another district, Humanoid Summoners were holding demonstrations of their own.
Just as Arthur had said, the entire world was in chaos. The destruction unfolding beneath Godfrey was only a drop in an overflowing bucket. Everywhere, tensions were approaching a breaking point.
